There was a slight scratch on outer big toe area but because of its location and black exterior isn't noticeable enough to return item for refund.

I absolutely love these shoes
I absolutely love these shoes!!!!! I have had difficulty finding a shoe that I can wear all day comfortably as I do a great deal of walking during my commute to and from work. They were comfortable right out of the box. In addition to comfort, not one day has passed without receipt of a compliment. I ordered a pair for my mother and wish to order more colors for myself, but there are none other than black in my size, so may just buy another black pair to ensure I have these to wear for as long as I can walk. ADDED 4/20/16: Ok, since purchasing my original pair, I have still received at least one compliment EACH day that I have worn the shoes. I have recommended the shoes to each person that complimented me. And I even saw one of the people wearing her new pair and loving them. I have purchased a total of 3 pairs now and plan to wear these shoes forever! I can not say enough about how comfortable they are and how great they look.

Very comfortable
I packed these sandals to go out for dinner in the Caribbean. Dominica is very hilly these shoes were just find. They are lightweight. Going thru customs were a breeze taking the shoes on and off . Actually looking to purchase a mother paire.

Highly recommended
Those shoes are amazing. I walked around at work for over 12 hours and those are lifesaver. I wears them with dresses, dressy pants, shorts, basically everything. Highly recommended.

Comfort and style
I purchased this shoe because I love the retro look and they are very comfortable. I wore them for a five hour event and had no problems whatsoever.

Beware a size 36 is not a size 5.
Frustrated that many sites list European size 36 as a U.S. size 5. It is not. A European size 35 is a size 5. Would like the size descriptions to reflect this.
