This dustbuster is AMAZING!

This B & D is truly the best dustbuster I have ever owned. I use it practically everyday sweeping up my German Shepherds' hair and other things. The battery life is incredible. It arrived March 15 and today is April 29 and I'm charging it for the FIRST time since the initial charge. I highly recommend this one. I don't think there's a better one out there.

Handy and versatile

I bought this handheld Black and Decker vac for its advertised pet power. It is very good with pet hair--picking it up and not getting impossibly tangled. I like that it seems to have good battery life. Seems substantial and fairly rugged. The spinner head is very good and it has the best suction with this self-powered attachment installed. The suction is somewhat lacking when using just the bare nozzle or small brush attachment. The nozzle and dirt chamber are one unit that detaches from the vac for emptying. That unit can be a little tricky to reconnect to the vac and if not snapped on just right, it can pop off unexpectedly. Overall, the vac is a good value and I use it frequently to vac my stairs, which it does quite well with the powered cleaning head installed.

Just ok

We have had this for several months now. It is alright to quickly suck up a small mess but misses things. The battery might last 20 minutes fully charged.

Filter is a pain in the ass and gets clogged easily.

The suction on this is pretty good- when it is not clogged which is often. The filter inside gets clogged extremely easily and is a pain in the ass to clean out because the filter always pops out. Makes a huge mess and it's hard to get back in place. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, the charger is pretty annoying because it comes with a mounting base but the charger is separate. It would be much nicer to have a charger made into the base as most of the time it does not even get plugged in.

Compact, surprisingly powerful, and simple to disassemble and clean.

The media could not be loaded. I have four dogs who shed their coats in a way that I can only describe as “sadistically.” I use a heavy-duty vacuum for my floors, but needed something to quickly and easily whip out for daily couch cleanings. Most handheld vacuums either struggle to pick up hair, feature a roller brush that jams, or are prohibitively expensive, but this one does the trick at an affordable price. It does still have a roller brush, but it’s made from some sort of thick rubber or silicone or something, which makes it malleable enough to easily untangle any long fabric threads that occasionally wrap around it; and keeps it simple enough to just rinse in the sink to clean it. The brush combined with the suction power provides a very satisfying feeling of actually physically picking up dirt, debris, and fur—stellar feedback. The battery isn’t an issue since I use it sporadically, so I’m not sure what you can expect if intending to use it for long sessions. But for me, after probably 20 minutes of cumulative use over the weeks, it’s still working strong off the initial charge. The capacity of the detachable bin leaves a bit to be desired, but it isn’t bad, and the fact that you just pop it off, shake it out, and pop it back on negates a lot of the drawback from the small size. Time will tell how long the brush/bristles and filters last. So far it seems promising and I’m not particularly worried about it. Very pleased with this vacuum so far. Best handheld pet vac for the price range I’ve ever bought.

Great hair remover

Love this little vacuum for removing dog hair off the furniture and rugs. Only thing I dont like about it is proximity of power switch to canister release. I have a dust allergy and accidentally dumping everything I sucked up off the couch trying to turn it back on for the chair was a hard learning lesson. Still an excellent vacuum. Would be 5* if the switch and release werent right on top of each other.

Works on furniture to remove dog hair

Only works for dog and cat hair on furniture because of the rubber wheel that collects the animal fur. If you need it to "vacuum up a mess" it does not have very much suction at all. Would not recommend for any other cleaning other than pet hair.

Parfait!!!

J’ai un chien et deux chats. La nuit, mon chien en profite pour aller dormir sur le divan... Résultat, il est impossible de s’asseoir dessus si on ne veut pas être plein de poils!! Ce petit aspirateur compact est facile à utiliser et en 2 minutes, je peux profiter de mon divan!! J’avais des gros doutes à l’achat, car il est souvent difficile d’enlever les poils coincés dans les fibres du tissus, mais je suis agréablement surprise!! Sa force d’aspiration est fantastique ! Très heureuse de mon achat!

Es fácil de usar, tarda mucho en cargarse completo (mas de 3 hrs) y solo dura aproximadamente 50 min. No tiene mucha potencia para aspirar pero con la boquilla de perro es buenisima
