It does not match Black and Decker spools

While the design in the same, the spool does not have a small enough center for the spring to encompass. Had to unspool the wire and just re-use the empty spool I already had in order for it to fit. At least the wire works fine.

The Weed Wackiest.

Unfortunately my electric weed eater is discontinued thus the spool is discontinued as well. I tried for a few months finding it at local lawn and garden stores, but eventually what little stock they had ran dry. I managed for a while without trimming the yard, sidewalks, or driveway, but eventually I had to seek an alternative dealer for this particular spool. Luckily Amazon came to my rescue. A quick search of my weed eater led me to this reseller on Amazon. 3 spools for dirt cheap. So much so I was even able to purchase a set of Cards Against Humanity in the same transaction. Back to the spool though, they work as intended and were easy to install. I've only just started using the first one. So I think these will last me a while at least until I run out and the weeds overtake my yard again.

Its swaps out in a jiffy but...

I purchased these spools of Black and Decker dual auto-feed weed-wacker line because they were a bargain. In fact I thought I was going to receive only one, but I received 3. Exchanging it with the old empty spool was done in a jiffy. One problem: They are the real OEM Black and Decker spools, but for whatever they wont auto-feed. The spool design is identical to the original, the string is not crossed anywhere.. Its an odd issue and the only thing I can think of is maybe the line gauge is a bit too thick for my model. I will verify my model numbers later but until then I will open and hand feed the line if I have too. It only takes a couple of minutes. The price for what I received was a good enough bargain anyway!
