Order bigger!

I had to order a size and half bigger and wide. My daughter does have big feet, but they’re not true to size like advertised.

Narrower than the slippers with the ties

My daughter typically wears the Bloch Girls Dance Dansoft Full Sole Leather Ballet Slipper/Shoe that has the little tie in it. She usually wears a narrow, and last time, I ordered a size 11. When she outgrew the size 11 narrow pair, decided to try a size 12 narrow in this style that has elastic rather than the tie. Yowch! She couldn't get her foot in widthwise because the elastic is significantly tighter than having the tie. Otherwise, this slipper has the same great Dansoft quality, just make sure to order wider than usual. I ended up getting her the Bloch Girls Dance Dansoft Full Sole Leather Ballet Slipper/Shoe, Pink, 12 Medium Little Kid, which works (although I think that I could have stuck with the narrow width, since having the adjustable tie makes all the difference).

These are really great ballet shoes for girls. They’re a supple leather - no breaking in needed. They are a durable leather upper and suede sole. This is the third pair I have purchased for my daughter. She wears a size 10.5-11 in Nike and fits a size 11 ballet shoe with a bit of room to go. These should fit on the snug side and stretch and grow with the foot. The elastic is well sewn and secure. No ties or items to fuss over. Overall just a well made and wonderful shoe. Only a few dollars more and leagues better than what you can buy at a big box store.

With some of the reviews saying these run small, I measured my girls feet and went a size larger. They were a little big so I have to guess that their sizing chart is pretty accurate. I would recommend going 1/2 size larger because they grow so fast but up to 1 size larger still did not pose a problem. Very easy to get on/off. Good quality materials. Love that I don't have to drive to the specialty shop cross town--with my luck they'd be sold out.

Runs small and cheaply made

Not impressed for the price. Runs small, had to exchange sizes twice. Only wore a few times and the material is coming off at the toe.

These shoes give the foot a beautiful shape and there are no strings!!!

Bought these for my granddaughter after her previous pair I just bought came untied and fell off in the middle of class. These don't have any strings to tie and I really like that. She is 2 1/2 I bought size 8 B, she wears an 8 shoe and doesn't have a narrow or wide feet. I thought they didn't fit when I first tried to put them on her but with a little pull they slid right on. They are a soft leather but being leather is why they needed a little extra pull at first. She has wore them 3 times now and they fit perfect. My favorite thing about these other than no string to tie is the way it makes her foot look. It gives the foot a really nice shape and makes it appear that she is pointing her toe more than she is. She does not have the toe pointing down completely yet but these shoes really help. They feel high quality and she will grow out of them before they wear out.

Get these!!

We purchased these at the request of my daughter's ballet instructor... and I'm glad she told us about them! There is no string through the top of the shoe, so they don't cut into the achilles like some others do. They run a little big, so we ordered a full size down and they were perfect.
