The media could not be loaded. These chairs are amazing! We originally bought three about 5 years ago. They are still in perfect condition and super comfortable! We recently built a bar in our home and decided to buy additional ones! The cushions were a little worn out from the older ones but I decided to reupholster the older ones and the new ones we just bought, and looks fantastic! Recommend these chairs to anyone that needs chairs for kitchen or bar!

Quality Product

I read some other reviews about this stool before I made my purchase. People we talking about bad directions on how to put it together and what not. The directions included are not extremely detailed but I was able to get through them without much trouble. It's a one page with 3 pictures. I found that if I got the screws ready with the washers on them before putting together that I had an easier time with the assembley. I did like the fact that each screw location on the bottom half of the stool uses 2 screws each making it feel solid when put together. Also the seat back has 2 screws at each location too. The one thing that I missed when I put my first one together was to make sure that the swivel part is facing in the correct direction (I had mine upside down) Other then that it took about a half hour to 45 minutes to assemble each of the 4 stools that I purchased. Also make sure you don't over tighten the screws you could split the wood. I also used a ratchet with an allen wrench attachment instead of the supplied allen wrench which made assembly go a lot faster.

Just ok for bar stools

I have 6 of these at my kitchen island. I have replaced at least 4 of them over the past 13 years. They go together easy, but they are slightly wobbly right out of assembly. The most recent stool I ordered does not look cappuccino, it looks brown. I'd return it, but I didn't realize the color difference until after it was assembled and put with my existing stools. Oh well. You do get what you pay for. These are just ok!

It's OK I guess but honestly it does NOT float my boat

I bought this six months ago right after I bought my new house. Pros: It is just the right height for a kitchen counter-height bar. It looks absolutely gorgeous. The foot rail is placed just right for my feet. Cons: This barstool does NOT float my boat, and I wish I could put my finger on why, other than the following minor flaws. It creaks when I get on it. The assembly wasn't easy for me, so maybe that is my fault. I keep feeling like I'm going to slip off of it (forward). It is heavy and whenever I need to move it, for me (an old lady) it is kind of a production. The chair back is far enough back that it might as well not even be there, for me anyway. I have never leaned on it. A week ago I bought a "saddle style" barstool from Amazon for $29 and it is perfect for me. Here's the link although I don't know if you will like it as much as I do, but I love it.Winsome Wood 24-Inch Saddle Seat Counter Stool, Black It's light, sturdy, comfortable, and doesn't take up much space. So, this is one case in which a cheaper option was better (for me). I plan to get rid of this barstool and buy more of the saddle style barstools.

We've only had them for a couple of days but they are terrific stools so far! The instructions aren't the most detailed, but if you read carefully, you get the idea. The last step mentions legs, but they should state the back rest - but if you look at the picture, you should see that is where you are at in assembly. Also, when attaching the swivel piece, the metal bracket fits best in only one direction, so if the screws don't seem to be lining up right, just turn the bracket 90 degrees. I am a 40 yr old mom and it took me almost 30 min to get the 1st chair put together and a little less for the 2nd. Both swivel beautifully and are very comfortable. Hoping they are durable too!

Sturdy and Comfortable

Beautiful piece! Sturdy, comfortable and easy to assemble. I bought four of them. Love the first three.The only reason I give this item four stars instead of five is that one of the bar stools I bought had a faulty larger hole for the screw and I had to deal with the manufacturer who is not very responsive.

Good quality, good price

I bought 3 chairs. They arrived packed very well and in good shape. The directions were a bit hard to read. They looked as if they had been photocopied many times over, and some words were difficult to see. However, it was easy to figure out how to assemble the chairs. They fit together well, no additional tools necessary - though I found that using my own allen wrench (instead of the one that came with the chairs) made it easier to tighten some of the screws. The wood is not perfect quality. Some dings, some pieces that didn't fit perfectly (like the rounded seat back fitting to the rounded seat), small areas where the stain is not very uniform...but for the price I found the quality very reasonable. We haven't used the chairs for very long, but they appear pretty sturdy.
