Provides a hole…..quick and hassle free

Ever try to drill through metal siding? It is impossible with most of the bits at the big box store. You buys these things because you want a hole and you want it as fast as possible. Who wants to hassle with a broken or worse- ineffective drill bit on a ladder 20 feet in the air? These just work and they are fast- about 3x faster than the bargain junk I have used. And after the first hole they are still sharp and ready for the next. Highly recommend.

Zips Through Titanium

Plenty has already been spoken in the reviews about just how durable and sharp these beauties are, and they certainly are that. But I specifically just wanted to add that I purchased these for a mini benchtop drill press because the bits I had were consistently overheating and wearing out (despite oiling) and had a very hard time getting through tougher metals. I popped these Bosch bits in and with a little oil and at a medium speed, these went so easily and cleanly right through a titanium knife scale (multiple times), nearly 1/4" thick. If you need to step up your drill bit set to get through tougher materials, then this is one you can depend on!

not hex, 3 flat shank

mixed messaging in the photos and the description. I was hoping to get lucky and get a set of hex but they are in fact the 3 flat which I still need but wasn't what I wanted just now. as others have stated, the way they are packaged SUCKS. they packed in tightly together and firmly in place. being brand new they are pretty sharp. good luck getting them out. I have not used them yet because they are not the shanks I need and i have not bothered dragging the big drill out. the point was to have something that i could just pop into my screwdriver for a few easy pilot holes without it turning into a whole production. lol anyway, its fine.

Dependable, consistent bits.

I have also been happy with the quality if Bosch products. They are made to consistent high standards. I tried a highly rated value product for restocking my index, which arrived rusty! I returned them and purchased these, which I should have just dine to begin with. I’m confident I’m getting an excellent product from Bosch.

Nothing like new ones.

The first drill bits I've bought in many years. The old ones were almost useless The last time I used them. Hardly made it through wood. I checked to see which ones the guy on Project Farm on youtube recommends. He does a good job and these were the best. And they are wonderful to use. Like going through butter. Very sharp and very hard metal. These will last a long time.

awful plastic case

These are tough and very sharp bits. Even the side flutes are sharp. That is the good news. Bad news is the plastic case/holder. Made of polyethylene (?) plastic it holds the bits way, way to tightly. You try to grip a bit and pull it out and you likely will be cut. Use pliers. If you have an unused metal case/holder, use it. I made this plastic case work ok by drilling out larger each bit size.
