Pricey but worth every penny.
I've been pretty handy since my dad started teaching me things 35 years ago. While no professional contractor, I think I could hold my own on most basic home repairs, basic renovations, improvements, etc. In 2014 we bought a vacation rental property 625 miles away. We make 4 quarterly maintenance trips each year and after we finish the necessary repairs, routine maintenance, etc., then we get to enjoy the beach. Which means that I have every interest in completing the work efficiently, as do all professional contractors where clearly time is money. So that's why I spent about $550 on this "overpriced" Bosch Click and Go system. I looked at it years ago and thought, "that's crazy" and I went with the Rigid component system which is similar to most everything else out there - several locking tool boxes on a custom dolly. But they all fail my needs because I ended up spending most of my time on my knees on the floor with 4 or 5 clumsy tool boxes spread out around a small condo with their non-see-through lids opened and the dolly in another spot, getting in the way. The other system worked great for getting the tools from the van to the condo, but that's where the utility ended. Enter the Bosch click and go with L-Rack System . . . With the L-Rack system, the dolly, and a couple of the smaller L-Boxxes, I can roll everything I need for several projects into the condo and access tools, parts, and supplies, through pull-out drawers that actually work very well and don't fall out. Using the labels, I can then load the top L-Boxx with everything I need to do bathroom maintenance and head upstairs with just that box and maybe a couple of the L-Rack drawers. Its flexibility is what you pay for. The quality is very good, but it is clear that Bosch is pricing this system on value, and not on the cost of materials and manufacturing plus some mark up. So in the end, it is worth EVERY PENNY to me because having an extra day or two each trip to surf fish is worth far more than the difference in price between the Bosch and everything else.

Racking my brain...
The Bosch L-Boxx has been my organizational system of choice for years. It has enabled me to be mobile while customizing my kit anyway with a click & go! Now I've found convenience in the L-Rack drawers they are optimal to access hand tools, cordless power tools, drill bit cases and other sundry items. When it came to grabbing an L-Rack I was interested in it as a full unit. Knowingly I read the descriptions, other reviews, plus all the videos here on Amazon. One of the things that is so perplexing is why the stock photo continues to be inaccurate. Originally Bosch seemed to offer the i-Boxx72 drawer with the L-Rack now it comes with the i-Boxx52 drawer which is smaller. While it's still useful and I ordered the Org53-12 organizational inserts it leaves me feeling somewhat cheated. Honestly this can hardly be called a complete kit without the larger drawer. The i-Boxx52 drawer is really made more for the L-Boxx-3D Storage Box, having two of them I should know best. Really wanted to give 5 Stars though this is so glaringly hard to overlook as an avid Bosch tool customer.

Good, but not great.
I would rate this system a 4 star. They are good, clearly so. But they don't reach the level of great. Pro's - They look good. They are light weight so moving them around is easy. Removable drawers are nice. Customizable and buildable solutions using the different components is awesome. It really is neat how they go together. They are as advertised. Cons - Plastic is thick enough for well cared for use, but I am not sure how they would hold up it used roughly (or dropped).

I was originally worried about the non bendy plastic. I dont think itll be an issue though. this thing seems like it will hold up well through the years. I have a few other bosch L boxx units and didnt think id use this as much as I do. Its great having drawers since I can keep sanding pads in one, common tools in another, and screws in one too. Love keeping things organized and this allows me to carry a lot with me in an easily managed system. I have an lboxx 2 on top which holds my palm and orbital sanders. note: would be nice if the other compartments came apart. Notice in the picture, only one section has the red handles which allow it to attach to other lboxx units. Mine came with the red handles on top, so i could remove that, but not dock this to any other box with this being the top. Id recommend this over the lboxx 3d since I like having drawers, and can still put a box on top of it.

This box is first rate in all respects
Bosch makes excellent products but does a very poor job at marketing them here in the US. They are big in Europe and Asia and have more products there. I was afraid to buy this product because it looked so cheesy in their online materials. I was going to go with the Rigid line-up of stack-able boxes. Boy was I wrong! This box is first rate in all respects. Well designed and built. The plastic is substantial and of obvious quality. I bought a L-Boxx 1 to snap on top and it clicks in precisely and holds firmly. I committed to the system and will be filling it out as I go along. I bought a Bosch 12v drill driver awhile back and was flabbergasted by its quality feel and superb performance. They are expensive for me, but over time I will migrate out of my old Ryobi equipment to Bosch one tool at a time. The difference between the two is like night and day but I must admit the Ryobi tools are very good and a great value and have served me well over the years.

5 years later
So far i have pretty much all of this product line ( L-Rack - I Boxx - Rolling base ) with no real issues. I would recommend using pull drawers when stacking because it gets annoying pulling stacks appart especially if they start to get heavy. My stuff is heavy and the product has no problem handeling load. This stuff is LEGIT. - Used every day by Professional Shading Contractors. Bosch, you guys should sponser me for that ...

If you are a Bosch user you already know!
Absolutely fantastic, might being able to use the deeper drawer (92) be a nice improvement for the future version!
