Wow, all bits are not made equal as I used to think. These are superior to any I have used.

Ok, spade bits generally work pretty well. These are in a whole different category! The way the tip is made makes the bit pull into the wood and do the work for you. The only issue I had is they pull so well and I was just making a counter sunk hole of about 1/4" in and they wanted to keep going. I had a hard time getting the bit back out instead of drilling the whole way through. Wow, they went through a 1 1/4" piece of IPE in seconds. These are great and highly recommended and only a few dollars more than the cheap bits.

Compared to most brands, hands down the best. Price snd longevity is always a consideration for multi-use. Bosch is where it's at.

Decent Tools, But...

These are not bad - I think they could be sharper, but they will get the job done. My big issue is the packaging - tough to get into, and there's no sleeve provided for storage and organization.

great bits, make sure you bring enough drill to the party & that you want a hole all the way through

first tried for a 3/4" dia hole in pressure treat pine. my 18 volt drill with a relatively new battery, full charge, could not product enough torque. the drill was enough for 1/2" hole in pressure treated and 5/8" hole in regular wood. i chucked the 1" bit into my drill press and it was the preverbal "hot knife through butter". if i need a more portable solution for larger holes i will be digging out my old corded drill. if you have them in right drill they can't be beat. Update - after using the smaller bits in my handheld drill and larger ones in my drill press, i have to go looking for a new set. many of my applications are for holes partially through the material. once these bit bite, they take off and i found it impossible to control depth.

Brilliant bits. The usual Bosch high end good standard. Remember to put your drill in reverse to exit, these bite like no other.

Not impressed

They are really rough on the wood, I have other ones here but didn’t have the right size so I bought these. My other one go through the wood more evening and don’t tear up the wood. Wouldn’t buy again.

Aressive drill bits

These bits charge the wood you are drilling and get the job done in short order. My other speed bits I have exert a lot of weight on the to drill. Not these. They go through softwood like nothing I have owned before. Good value cosidering the Pime day special pricing.
