A beast!
Build quality is very good. Clean white light, uniform and spreded! Robust adjustment, will stay in the position you choose. I did ordered a 6amp battery just to last many hours with the light on

GREAT ADAPTABLE WORK LIGHT!
Great work light for working under motor vehicle! Best light I have experienced. Recommended! Added bonus- two powerful magnets included to hold in hard to get at positions.

Great, versatile, sturdy work light
After having purchased and returned a couple of poorly-designed work lights, I finally found this one. Note that you need to buy the battery/charger separately. It just so happens that I already have the battery and charger, so this light was a natural for me to buy. It is extremely versatile and bright.

Great Design, Great Bosch Quality
Other reviews pointed the way to this Bosch light for its versatility, and it truly is versatile. The frame appears to be cast aluminum and is very sturdy while still being functional: it snaps into multiple different positions, allowing the light to be used pointing any chosen direction and has a built in carabiner-type snap, allowing it to be hung from ropes, poles, whatever, from one end, while the hook at the other end (black) lets you hang it from that direction. It also has a 1/4-20 threaded opening which lets you attach to a tripod, too. The Bosch 12 volt batteries are small in the 2-amp hour size, but go up if you need more longevity. The Frame also has a very strong built in magnet, strong enough to hold the light up from anything magnetic and point the light or bend it in any direction. The light covers a huge area very brightly and can be either "full" or dimmed one step, selected by holding the power switch down and letting the switch pop back up. In all, very, very flexible and appears to be more so than some competitor brands.

Fine product from Bosh
I have had this light for only a month, but use it a lot. Bright and easy to use, fits nicely in my toolbox. No issues ....

didn't like the way to get to dim setting
It's a good light but I often prefer a dim setting and this one requires that you hold the button down to get there. If you are using for long periods this isn't a big deal but if you turn it on/off repeatedly it gets bothersome b/c it doesn't remember the last setting you were on. I prefer a similar light from Klein 56403, it's lighter weight and I like the way it cycles to dim. That being said, this one is more heavy duty, and I really like how the LED are recessed so they are less likely to blind you. The larger (and replaceable) batter could be a plus but personally I like the lighter weight built in battery (it's an LED not a power tool). One more star lost b/c of the price. It's a good like but it's still just a light, and the Bosch 12v platform is not that good. I find the Bosch planer, sander, and router to be inappropriate for 12v. You basically must use a 6.0 to make the useful for anything but a quick touch up. For most professionals, this light is the best thing Bosch has going for it's 12v. However, it's not worth the price in my opinion. The Klein I mentioned or M12 lights are good competition for it (just to name a few).

Amazing Light
This is my new go-to light solution. I reach for this light, first. First off, it is bright! Able to make any dimly lit project a thing of the past. Second, it is sized nicely. Not overwhelmingly large or heavy. The rechargeable 12v batteries are light and last a long time. It fits into many small areas, where my other lights can’t. The light has a very strong magnet. Great for positively attaching to a steel surface. There is a lanyard like clip, making it great for attaching to your clothes or a backpack. The built in stand is dependable. There is also threaded hole that will fit most camera tripods. The light pivots through over 180 degrees of arc. I was kind of iffy about buying this light since I already have other lights. But was I wrong. For the vast majority of my projects, this is all the light I need. I brought it to work and used it to light up the inside of a couple of server tracks that I was building out. Just amazing. Even in a brightly lit room, I didn’t realize just how dark it was inside those racks until I used this. It is so much easier to attach the slides to the rack because the screw holes are so much easier to see. This is a two-thumbs, waaay up recommendation. No question: I’d buy it again in a heart beat. A couple of my coworkers are now looking at buying their own, after using mine.

Best little light you can buy!
I was toying with the idea of getting a dedicated work light for my battery system for quite some time. I didn’t want to spend the $70 on it since I can buy so many other lights for half of that that do not use my battery but still are good, like the nembo lights. After much deliberation I decided to go for it and it has been a great decision. I used one of my older 1.2amp batteries to power it and it last for hours and hours. Note, if you hold down the on button it will dim to a more energy efficient setting. This only marginally reduced the output yet saves much battery life. The real deal maker for this light is the size and mounting options. It has 5 ways to prop it up in your work space: floor standing, caribeener, nail hook, magnet and tripod. With battery it is also one of the smallest lights you can buy for a tool battery system. It fits into pitlight holes so I can run wires. The other lights would have been too big. Bosch also has another 12v light that is more wand like, but I did not like how it lacked many ways to secure it to different surfaces. Light output is very good. I can put it on the ground and it illuminates the whole room enough to comfortably do work. There are definitely more powerful lights out there but they are bigger and run more batteries. I just didn’t find this lacked light. It’s so small you can clip it on your tool bag and go. Also the build quality is a 10. Nice aluminum edges and strong Bosch plastic. The magnets are so powerful you can secure it to one drywall screw! Yes, it’s that strong. Great job Bosch.

Great design
Excellent product, for working outside at night. This light will illuminate the wide area and is a great companion to a quality headlamp. Usually I have it stuck to the truck, but it also works quite well just sitting on the ground. I am using it with 10 year old 1.5Ah batteries, and it does chew througj them a little quicker than I would like, but hey, I need new batteries. Has survived a good drop or two already. Has a halfway decent CRI for what it is. Would be nice if they had included a low frequency strobe mode, for use as a flare in roadside emergencies.

A great light
I always wanted this light but could not justify the price. Happily I found it on sale during prime days. It is a very convenient and versatile light with many mounting options and is very compact and portable due to the 12v battery platform. I can even use this as additional lighting for my stationary tools due to the magnetic mount. I have the stick like light that was part of a 12v combo but it doesn’t even compare, this is the ultimate Bosch 12v area light imho….but for a price.

It's one of those well-built, well-designed products you love to use
Nice and bright to light up a small room if nec, great build quality and materials, many standing/attachment options to get the angle and secure attachment you may need. A pleasure to use, feels like a compact pro tool. I temporary used as a background light in my office to reduce shadows when working from home until I could buy a lamp. On the dimmer setting (and it's not much dimmer at all), I got about a day and a half of light before Bosch battery recharge.

very bright and run for hours
I've had a few of these and they are the best lights. Never had one fail, just lost or broken. Very bright and the batteries can last all day. The base is fantastic as it rotates, has a magnet and you can hook it on stuff. I use my oldest batteries, the ones that don't give enough torque with power tools.
