Damaged in shipping
The chair is good overall. It's taller than I was expecting, so I e removed the foot ring to reduce the height. I'm 6'6 330lbs. Even now I have to use the lowest setting for desk height, which makes the raised position perfect for my other needs. The foot ring also got in the way a lot. It stuck out too far for my liking, and I kept hitting it unintentionally. The box was damaged and the base of the seat back was sticking out. Whatever screw hardware that's supposed to attach the back to the base was gone. I removed one of the four screws used to attach the baseplate to the seat base and it works perfectly to attach the seatback to the base. Three screws for the base should be sufficient, although not ideal. Too much hassle to return.

Here's my review after 2 years of daily use.
Was easy to assemble. Built very well. Very worth noting is even on the lowest setting, this stool still sits high and the highest setting is SUPER high. Wish it was able to go lower than the lowest height. After 2 years, the vinyl seat is beginning to tear and I'm not a very heavy guy. Need to find a replacement cover. Other than that, it's lasted perfectly.

Serves it's purpose
I got this to use at an adjustable desk that I wanted to keep at standing height. It works well for that, I get to stand when I want and sit when I want without having to change my desk. The drawback is that the chair does not go down to regular desk height so it can't be used for that. The seat is nice and thick so I see it lasting a long time, most seats will flatten or get too soft with time. After a day of use the seat is quite hard and uncomfortable. I bought a TINTON LIFE 16" cover and it adds needed cushion and makes the chair look better.

Stool. Not Chair
As the name says, it's a "stool" not a "chair". As a stool, it works great and it has as much long term comfort as any other stool. This stool is not very ergonomic, but I guess stools are not really supposed to be. If I were to order again, I would look for a high "chair", that has much more ergonomic features and a larger contoured butt surface.

Meh... it's about what you would expect for the money.
I need a higher rolling chair for my standing desk. Paint is thin. Some paint was chipped off in shipping. Not the most sturdy thing in the world, but it gets the job done for $100.

The footrest ring is a pain
Resting my feet on the footrest ring was so uncomfortable, I took it apart with WD-40 and rubber mallet. It turns that you can't eliminate the ring without the extension tube. I checked with the Boss support team, and there's no alternative extension tube available. This leaves you with a standard office seat (about 26 in). Suggestion: Don't buy this chair if you think the footrest ring will get in your way.

Art or drafting stool.
I bought the stool thinking it would be great to sit at my easel and be comfortable painting. I am disappointed at the size of the seat and the lack of adjustment in the back support. If the back could be adjusted in or out , the seat would probably be fine. As it is I am about half on/ half off the seat which makes for an uncomfortable posture. If I had thought it out more and saw that the back was not adjustable, i probably wouldn't have bought it. I may remove the back and just use it as a stool without back support. I believe the seat would be great for smaller people say 5'8" and shorter. I am 6'4" and I just cant fit on the seat comfortably.
