What I've Been Looking For

I purchased two of these candles to add to some I already have. They are perfect match. Arrived securely and in a timely manner.

As Advertised....

I had one in my window during the Holidays. It's nice and narrow and fits on the ledge easily(on windows I don't have a screen). I have one on my fireplace mantel also... Very realistic color and flickering. I like that it can be set to not flicker for use as lighting during power outages.

Nice Looking candle light

Looks nice compared to many others I’ve had over years. Reminds me of my grandmother’s she had in the window in the 50’s for Christmas. Light not too bright but soft flickering seen from a distance or behind curtain. Long lasting batteries still going and no cord in the way. Auto On off like magic! Got my daughters 1 also.

Matches my old candles

Just perfect. I needed extra candles and these matched perfect. Orange how (not white) looks like flames and turn on and off when it gets dark. Perfect. Lasts the whole Christmas season on two C batteries

Good quality candle with a warm, orange glow

I purchased these candles after reading all the reviews. They do live up to what people are saying. They are slightly more expensive than many of the window candles you can buy, but they also don't contain lead as most of those do. They're also sturdier than those candles. They don't look or feel as cheap, either. My biggest concern when deciding which to buy was my cats potentially knocking them over. I needed candles that could withstand abuse and not break or potentially cause fires. I bought three of these candles so far and have had them in my windows for 4 months now. My cats have bumped them numerous times, yet I've had no fallen candles. They take size C batteries, which help to weigh them down. Because they are sturdy and there are no cords to mess with, these candles are ideal for a home with pets and/or children. As to the color of the flame...well, yeah, they're orange. But they're not horrifically, Halloween-y orange. They look like, well, what they're supposed to look like - fire. When I come home at night and look at them in the windows, sometimes I do wish they were brighter like the typical white electrical candles many homes have in their windows. They don't give off a blinding light as those do. But they do give off a nice, soft orange glow that is pleasant and welcoming. It's lovely to see them flickering away aginst the cold, dark winter sky. In 4 months time, I've only had to replace the batteries once. That's pretty cool, considering that during December, for example, when the days are shortest, the candles would turn on around 5 pm and stay on until 5 or 6 am the next morning. I originally intended to keep them running only in autumn and winter, but I like them so much I will probably keep them in the windows in spring and summer too. I intend to buy more of these candles as well as a few of the Good Tidings LED 3-tier candles to place in my front windows. I'd give them 5 stars if only they were just a little bit brighter. But they're the best I've found in every other aspect: battery-operated, sturdy and strong, don't look cheap and tacky, no cords to mess with.

Easily seen from road, looks real!

Update 10/11/22. Still going strong. Battery lasted until May. I know....I'm shocked too! Cats have knocked it over a few times and it received no damage. I like it in my dormer window so much, I'm leaving it for a quaint look yr round. Will buy another when needed. Original review: I love the orange tinted flame as it looks realistic from the road. Easily seen. Candle flame is thankfully not white... this has a warm realistic glow. Bought on Dec 6th this year and set it to flicker. Comes on as it gets dark and turns off when the sun comes up. I have an older home and put it in my dormer window. Gives off just enough illumination inside to also be used as a nightlight to spot the bathroom without turning on a light. Pricey? To me, yes, but would love to have one in all my windows eventually. I plan on leaving this in the window year round as it gives even more warmth to my cottage style home. Cannot attest to battery life yet but love the warm glow! Was nervous purchasing with some of the negative reviews of it being Halloween orange. It's not! Glad i took a chance. If you want a white light, pass on this. If you want warmth, don't hesitate to buy. :) Battery adds weight and stability. Great purchase!
