Works great
My office doesn't have hot water and I often need to make hot water for oatmeal, tea or for washing babies after a photo shoot. I used to have a plastic tea maker. It worked good until I accidentally dropped it. So I went to Amazon and found this. I like this a lot. It's super simple and easy to use and the water gets hotter than the tea maker so I have to make less. My tea maker had a larger footprint because of the tea cooking area. This is much simpler.

Love it love it!
I purchased this item after looking at several to choose from. I was undecided if it would really serve the purpose and if I would really like it but given the price I thought I would give it a try. It arrived very well packed, and I immediately set it up and tried it for the first time. I was amazed at how quickly it boiled the water, and how easy it is to pour without anything splashing or steam burning your hand. The only downside I would have to it is the base that it sits on is very lightweight so you do need to use a little Caution putting it back on the base and there is no temperature dial or control, which is why I chose 4 stars. All in all it's a great product just pay attention to what you're doing.

Great
This kettle is so easy to use, couldn't be simpler. Put the minimum of water in it (.5 liter) , sit it on the base and push the on/off button in the handle to on. Blue lights around the base come on as it begins to heat, the .5 liter comes to a boil in about 3 to 3.5 min, then it shuts off and the button goes back to off. Push the button back on to reheat anytime, but any less water than the minimum and it will shut back off. I've not tried more than the minimum, .5 liter is four 8oz cups of coffee. I was surprised that the kettle itself is made of plastic which I like because glass can shatter. My only note is that it is heavier than I expected because the heating element is made into the kettle, can't be helped. And the handle is rather thick making it a little hard for me to grip as I have neuropathy. 98% perfect electric kettle, I'd buy again.

I love making tea this is perfect for me I just fill it with water and turn it on once it is done in about 5 minutes you can enjoy ! Also can use it in cups of noodles packs of hot chocolate etc

boils water faster than anything else I have found. shuts it self off when its ready, and it has LED lights when its running so it looks great as well.

I bought this as a gift for my son
I bought this as a gift for my son to replace his tea kettle on the stove. He absolutely loves it. It used to take about 10 minutes to have the tea kettle on the stove boil one completely full. This takes about 3 minutes. The only downfall he felt was because it's glass. It doesn't hold the heat but he doesn't mind because he just turns it back on and he's right back up

Good value for money, with minor issues
At the price, looks good and boils water fairly quickly. Lid structure results in condensation inside the kettle, and spout too wide so pouring can be tricky.

awesome and good looking kettle
I really love this glass electric kettle. It's the perfect size, easy to maintain and clean and it's kind of cool to watch the water boil. I would definitely buy another one. Now Im just hoping it will last as long as my older plastic electric kettle !

Works fast and is pretty, but a little tricky to set down
This is an attractive glass kettle. When it is working, the light that comes on is roughly the same blue as a gas burner - a thoughtful choice. It produces boiling water quickly and shuts off as soon as it boils with no problems. My only issue with it is that once you have taken the kettle off it's base, poured it into your tea kettle, mug or whatever else, putting it back in the base can be very tricky. It isn't easy to see when the kettle is seated right in the centre nob of the base, and you aren't careful, I fear it could com sliding out, break the glass, and all is ruined.
