Love hate relationship

I wish I had purchased all that I needed at once since the price has increased significantly since the summer. (About $20) I wouldn't have purchased it at the current price but now I just need to finish my project. Also consider that different batches may not line up properly. I've even found that this happens when using the same roll. It's easy enough to install and is forgiving since it is thick. It doesn't tear easily but can be frustrating when trying to cut to size with a razor. The thickness helps to hide imperfections in the wall surface. Convenient since I'm covering 1970s wood paneling. I have tons of windows, trim, light fixtures, sockets, and shelving to cut around. Because this is a geometric pattern, it results in more waste than I'd like. Buy more than you think you'll need if you're doing a room. It takes paint well and doesn't bubble from moisture. I haven't noticed shrinkage (I live in a dry area). I like the fact that you don't need to soak this first. The texture can be hard to paint properly. A foam roller gives the best result with even coverage and no loss of texture in the design. However you'll need two coats if you're not painting it white. If you bump it, it does gouge the surface and expose white paper underneath. I may put a clear protective coat over it to make it more durable. Overall, I love it and I hate it. It's a night and day difference from wood paneling to this. The project itself is tedious and the price hike stings. Just pick the same product in a cheaper design and you'll be good.

Beautiful pattern, NOT PRE-PASTED

I purchased this paper to cover damaged inserts on the sides of a dresser. There was plenty of paper for the project and a lot left over. The paper was easy to handle, measure, cut and paste. I wish it was available in a prepasted or peel and stick option, but even having to use wallpaper glue, it was not difficult to install. I allowed the glue to dry for several hours before applying paint. Paint went on pretty easy, I just had to be sure that I covered around the hexagon designs thoroughly. The paper did not soak up and waste paint, but I did end up applying 2 coats to insure complete coverage. I will definitely keep this paper on hand for future projects.
