Solid Compression Cubes

These are nice packing cubes at an affordable price. Like most BUILT products they are well-made and reasonably priced at less than $20 for the two packing cubes. I like how the compression works. It is enough to gain a couple of inches of space when you are using them for packing. I like how the mesh allows you to see inside without having to open them. These are appropriately labeled "small" and "medium" and are a good size for smaller things like socks and underwear. Overall happy with the "BUILT Compression Cube 2 Piece Set, Expandable Packing Set, Luggage and Travel Organizers, Blue Poseidon".

Good for travel organization

**Packing Cubes** Summary (scroll down for Pros/Cons if you're in a hurry!) : These packing cubes are just right to keep itmes in luggage organized. I’ve used these for a long time to separate socks, underware and T-shirts. They work great. It’s nice to just be able to pull out a cube, grab what you need and shove it back in your bag. I’ve used these for a long time for just that going back and forth to my shift work job. I work a 48 hour shift and bring changes of clothing to work. It’s nice to be able to take one of these and fit enough underware and socks for the shift and toss it in my duffle bag. The Large measures approximately 9"x13”x4” and I fit about 9 pairs of crew socks and 9 pair of underware in it. The Smal measures approximately 9.5”x7”x3” and I fit 3 pair of sock and 3 pair of underware. I’m sure it would easily fit another pair of each, The build quality seems pretty good and the zippers work well. It has an expansion zipper so that you can zip it up making the overall size smaller for storage, although I think this is unneccessary since it’s small, flexible fabric and would just lay flat for storage anyway. **Pros: Well built Great travel size for socks, underwear, or shirts. Could be used for toiletries. Adds great organization to your suitcase or other traveling bags. Items to store and uses are only limited by your imagination. The mesh lid allows items to breath and makes it so that you can see what is in the bag if you have several. **Cons: Single stiching inevitability fails on things like this. I would expect them to last a while but not indefinitely, and would depend on the amount of use they get over a given time frame. **While I received this product for free (but will still pay tax on it) in exchange for a fair, unbiased review, I always do my best to do just that. Above is my very honest opinion on this product. If it's no good I will say so. I try to give honest and in depth product feedback to help you determine if the item is right for you. Must have for frequent travellers!

When you travel as much as I do, these travel cubes are a must! I like to organize my clothes by day so that I only have to open/unpack one cube at a time. The ability to compress the contents is nice but I usually don't because I don't want my clothes to get too wrinkled or my bags to be too heavy to schlep around. These seem to be well made with quality seams and zippers. The compression feature works easily and the material doesn't get caught up in the zipper like I've struggled with in other brands. I love the blue/gray color and the price is excellent for what you get. Highly recommend any suitcase warrior to grab a set of these!

Best packing cubes I’ve used.

These BUILT Compression Packing Cube Set is so convenient! I travel weekly and am always looking for ways to make it easier. Using these cubes even helps me to actually look forward to packing. The material is durable. The set fits nicely on one side of my hard side carry on suitcase with room to spare. I prefer using packing cubes for easy unpacking. These cubes hold many rolled outfits (women’s size 16/18 a XL/XXL). My previous packing cubes ware from a popular quarterly subscription box and came with a price tag triple what these are. I recommend these BUILT cubes over my old set. They hold more, are more flexible and the quality is better.

The two-piece set is a modest size, good for smaller pieces of clothing.

These packing cubes are nice because they rely upon a compression zipper as opposed to a vacuum seal to shrink your clothes down. I think that's better because inevitably a bag that relies on an air-tight seal is going to wear out and lose its ability to keep the vacuum. Size-wise, the 2-piece set I chose will be suitable for socks and underwear. Possibly t-shirts but I'm a big guy so I'm not sure the larger of the two would be up to that task. Of course it matters how many days we're talking here so for me, I'm thinking of a week's worth of clothing. Quality-wise, these cubes seem very good. The fabric is strong and the zippers work good. They probably shouldn't have included the handles on these. I say that because after a week's worth of use the fabric handle on the larger of the two is in shreds. We are on a beach vacation and the larger cube is really coming in handy as something we keep with us in the car to hold a change of clothes in. It has the perfect capacity to hold two clean t-shirts and two pairs of shorts (or bathing suits) so we had it in our duffle in the car and moved it in and out as needed. Unfortunately the handle didn't last though, and once it broke free from the seam it was attached to, the fabric of the handle just came completely unraveled so I can't re-attach it with a simple needle and thread. We will just cut it off and keep using the cube as the cube itself is holding up fantastically. But, I'm gonna take off one star for this potential design flaw.
