Fisherman will find a way

I used these to make bottom bouncing weights by cutting to length, straighten, using a hammer to flatten one end then using a ice pick to make a hole , then I have a bottom bouncer, after adding a swivel for line attachment for 25 cents vs buying the store bought version for a dollar a piece, they work great.

I bought this to use as an anchor for plants in my aquarium. Well, it does a great job! The lead is soft and pliable and cuts with a regular pair of scissors. I have enough for dozens of plants and it is way cheaper than a normal package of plant anchors. Thanks guys!

Reliable and durable

Worked as I intended. The hollow core design allows for easy threading and makes it more versatile than others. The 1/8-inch diameter is suitable for a variety of fishing applications. However, it's less than 1 lb. obviously.

for use in aquariums

Like another reviewer, I got this (1/8") to use as plant and ornament weights for my aquariums. It's very malleable and easy to cut, so it works well for that purpose. It's also much cheaper than buying weights specifically sold as aquarium weights. I'm satisfied with it.

Perfect for planted aquarium use

Can wrap it to drift wood so it will stay down, or use pliers to flatten the lead and cut it to small pieces to add some weight to plants.
