Not bad from coal miner
I work in the coal mine in Pa and WV these boots held up much better than expected. Sometimes I stand in water almost all day in a shift and my feet stay dry. I don’t have wide feet so I added insoles and I wear thick dry fit socks which made the boot fit better. I do recommend a pair of metatarsal muck boots for the mine but if you don’t wanna wear those all day these will do the trick

Not Great
I have owned two pairs of these boots. The first pair was from a few years ago, they where fair not great. They wore quickly. Lasted maybe six months, unfortunately I needed to keep them a full year. So why did I purchase these again. Supple chain. These where all that I could find in my size. So hear we go. First the pros. They look nice. They are made by Carhartt. They aren't that expensive compared to other boots. Cons: and there are a lot of them. THEY ARE NOT WATERPROOF!!! Yesterday I stood in 16 degree outside temperature in 4 inches of snow with sopping wet feet. booth boots leak! Not a fun day. Traction: Have you ever seen one of those video where the deer to trying to cross the lake or pond and continues to fall down on the ice? When you where these boots you are the deer. Traction is terrible, it doesn't mater if it is snow, ice or mud. All are bad. Fit: I ended up with two blisters on the inside of my heal from these boots. I then had to tie the boots extremely tight to the point of toes going numb just so they would rub my heal. Yes, I did order the correct size. Arch support isn't great. It is ok I guess. If that was the only thing wrong with these boots I could live with it. Carhartt make a lot of really good products. I.E. jackets, paints, shirts, gloves, raincoats, ect... Boots? not so much. I hope this helps you.

Great try, boot just doesn't breath at all
Great boots, as advertised. Widths are great, fit is also great. Comfortable, Waterproofing is solid. Now here's where the problem lies, these do NOT breath at all. I'm currently working an inside job, AC all day, my feet are soaked with sweat by the end of the day. I'm foreman and get to walk and sit. So there's no reason for my feet to be so hot all day. Would have given a 5 star rating if not for the serious breathability issue Okay, 6 moth update the toe protectors are breaking up. Not due to abuse, not sure if the waterproof system is intact. Thought I Felt a bit of water penetrating the right toe this past weekend. Will test more today later and update. If this is the case I will be very unhappy with this purchase.

Good work boot
A little tight at first but loosened up as I was wearing them as expected was really empresses with the composite toe size usually I can feel the edge of it but can’t on these definitely recommend 6month update Still doing really good still comfortable and not splitting at seems composite toe has saved my toes multiple times from so heavy objects.

Rugged
I wear boots in a factory daily, so I put a lot of wear and tear in them. This marks my second pair of Carhartt boots. My other pair lasted twice as long as Redwing boots did. I was very pleased with my other pair of Carhartt boots, so I am a returning customer. These new ones look very rugged, and fit comfortably right out of the box. I’ve had no painful break in period, like with other brand boots. I love them.

Unbelieveably sturdy build. I can tell these are going to take a serious beating before showing serious signs of wear and tear. I bought another pair of boots at the same time by a MAJOR name brand in work boots that look twice as beat up as these do. I switch off day to day between these and the others. The only complaint i have is they are a tad heavy for distance walking. They also took much longer to break in, but are built like a tank. I would definitely recommend these to someone looking for a heavy duty boot thats ready to take a beating, but not so much for lots of walking. Great support and the toe box is wide which is nice. Lacing is easy and the waterproof feature sure hasnt let me down (although i have applied beeswax since, just for added protection.) Will definitely consider buying more boots from carhartt in the future.

Are they worth it for the price
The back of my feet the skin is rubbing off because the back part for your heel is big even if I tighten up the laces not buying again
