Looks nice at first

It looks nice at first and feels high quality. The problem is that the black color it is attracts an unbelievable amount of pocket lint. It is also pretty difficult to remove so it just ends up looking dirty (after 1 day of use).

Super tight sleeves make it difficult to remove cards

Material feels nice and sturdy, although it is already showing slight signs of wear on the edges. Biggest issue is the snugness/grip of the card sleeves. I put a single card in each of the 6 card pockets and they are difficult to remove at best, impossible at worst. These were all average size credit or debit cards, with the exception of a metal card - which was actually not the worst. Seems like the shiny plastic cards really get stuck in there, often requiring the removal of all other cards to get them out. Its a nice looking wallet, I'd like to use it - but not if I have to empty it completely every time just to get things out of the sleeves. I guess it might break-in over time, but it's honestly just poorly designed. Update: after almost a year, cards still stick and are very difficult to pull out; seems to be an adhesive reinforcing the seams that is sticking to the cards. Poor design/construction.

Simple and solid!

Plenty of card slots and a main pocket for small amounts of cash. I appreciate having the keyring built in as well so I can keep my things together!

Terrible

I’m by no means a soft handed delicate flower. Getting cards in and out of this wallet has been an absolute nightmare. I have been trying to make this work thinking it will get better and like a bad relationship it has just ended. I thought maybe it would break in and it will not do that anymore. I’ll be at a register having a fit because I can’t get cards out and I have jam my fiber into the card slot so that the fabric, which is stuck like duct tape, will separate from the card. It even makes a stick sound as you do it. Carharrt is good but I found the one product they don’t do well with and that I won’t get again, wallets.

Genuinely expected better

I love Carhartt, their clothing has a certain robust feel to it that I’ve always loved. My last cheap key ring wallet was fraying and worn, so when I saw this I was thrilled. However, in two weeks, the thread holding the wallet to the keys had ripped completely. It’s one thing for me to have used this extensively, but I very easily could have lost my wallet and all it’s contents because I was simply not expecting such poor quality. For something so important, I was expecting more security, especially from a brand like carhartt. Looks neat, pointless to use if you actually plan to attach your keys to it.

Stitching is fake, held together with glue.

Don't buy this. It looks really nice but the stitches that supposed to be holding it together are just for show. This wallet is held together with cheap glue that absorbs moisture and melts onto your cards. One week into using this and I can't get cards out of the middle slot on either side because they're literally glued in. My debit card is now covered in gunk. I'm questioning everything with Carhartt on it now because I'm extremely disappointed.

It's tight

I was surprised at the size of the package delivered compared with the size of the wallet. On opening, I could see the wallet had been sent inside a large Carhartt tin box. This to me seems superfluous and wasteful. The wallet itself looks good and feels sturdy but on first putting cards in, it's very tight. I added 6 cards so it's now basically stuffed. Trying to then remove one quickly is quite an exercise, iow not quick. I do hope it'll stretch with use so I'll stick with it.
