Tacky Advertisement on the Backside for a Sympathy Card

The card is really nice but the tacky advertisement on the backside really bothers me. I'm sending this to someone who recently lost their mother. Is nothing sacred? Ugh.

Disgraceful that they charge more than 50 cents for this

This is absolutely disgusting that anyone thinks it is ok to charge $4.95 for this card. Even if it was a birthday card, the size and quality isn’t worth more than $1... but because it’s a sympathy card, the backside advertisements are atrocious. When you send a sympathy card, you’re making an effort to show someone you cared. This appears to be a free sample type of card and does not look like someone actually put effort into looking for or buying a card. I ordered this before the person above wrote her review. She’s absolutely right. I never order cards online. But, with covid, I decided to look online instead of going to a store. I honestly don’t think I can send this to my friend. I’m too embarrassed. And I don’t want to go to the store to return this if I don’t have to. Very very disappointed that amazon allows this to be sold for $4.95. I barely write reviews but this compelled me to start reviewing more often.

This is a small, boxed set card sold individually.

This card is from a box of cards. It is tiny and ordinary, not like a full-sized, store bought card. If you notice, on the back there is no price. Is that even legal to sell one item from a boxed set like this...?

Overpriced for what you get.

Not what was expected at all. In fact, it is a terrible card. Very small, and the back is filled with “go green” type advertisements. (Not appropriate for a sympathy card.) I wouldn’t have ordered it, but with our quarantine I hesitated to go out and buy greeting cards. Didn’t expect to get this.

Overpriced ... but like the messages.

I totally agree about the price! I have bought several of these cards over time because I really like the messages and the pictures are nice. But I hate the green script on the back. The cards are small and simple. I agree that they may look like a sample card though I hadn't thought of that. I bought the last one just to frame and put on my desk because I liked the message and the picture. Wish the price were more reasonable!
