Very pretty card

Mother's Day Card from Daughter & Son-In-Law review. This is a very pretty card, with a nice sentiment. It is a quality, well-made card. Typical price of 6.99 for this type of card with the embellishment of the raffia and the thick cardstock.

Good price, lovely message

I loved the colors and mostly liked the sentiment on the card. The only thing that detracted from the card was calling my husband "son" rather than son in law, because that's just not how my mom refers to him. This card is perfect for my sister, however, as my brother in law has often referred to himself as my mom's other son. User error on that, since I should have read the card more thoroughly before I bought it. I'm glad my sister will be able to use it.

The American Greetings Mother's Day Card from Daughter and Son-In-Law (You Love Our Family) is well made and printed on sturdy quality cardstock. It is made in China. The front of the card features foil, embossing, a pattern of plants and flowers, and a rather plain paper-like ribbon, which wraps around the front of the card. Message on the front: "From Your Daughter and “Son,” Mom We see how much you love our family and how proud you are of us…" The inside message is printed on a gold embossed insert and is as follows: On the left: "We see how much thoughtfulness you put in everything you do, and how it makes our times together so special…" On the right: "We see how incredible you are, and how lucky that makes us… and we hope you always know how much we love you. Have a beautiful Mother's Day" The card is nicely decorated inside and out, with the inside featuring the same plant patterns and colors as the front, (see my picture) and a paper insert with the printed message. The ribbon continues from the front, and the insert is also embellished with gold foil. The card and a peach colored envelope arrived sealed in plastic with a perforated line down the middle, both sides, making it very easy to open. Extra postage is required to mail this card, but since I want Mom to see the card looking its best, I will hand deliver it to her along with her gifts on Mother's Day. If she lived far away and I had to mail it, I would ship it with her gifts for added protection. The American Greetings Mother's Day Card from Daughter and Son-In-Law (You Love Our Family) is a nice, sturdy card, with a lovely sentiment, but it isn't quite as pretty and flashy as cards I generally select for Mom. Although it isn't very colorful, I knew it was a somewhat plain color when I ordered it, and I ordered it because of the message. All things considered, I'm pleased with it and I know Mom will love it! In general, American Greetings cards are sturdy, well made, and reasonably priced, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase their products in the future.

Love the card, but disappointed with the packaging/shipping

I have ordered a couple of American Greetings cards and have been very happy with them. They have been exactly as described and shown, and this one is no different. However, the handling of this card was rough. The card arrived with clear packaging around it, but it does not have anything to protect the corners or keep the card from bending during shipping. The other cards I purchased were packaged the same way, but luckily arrived in good condition, despite some superficial wrinkling and bent corners on the envelopes. This card did not fare as well and perhaps due to humidity and/or mishandling has a wave to it, and the envelope has a permanent and obvious crease. With Mother’s Day still weeks away I will keep the card pressed under heavy books to see if it flattens out. I have been enjoying purchasing cards online, but I’m worried that it’s too much of a gamble with the condition in which the cards will arrive.

Beautiful card, wrinkled envelope

My mom always likes to get cards for me and my husband that say "son" on them, so having the opportunity to get one for her that was from me and my husband as well, I of course jumped at it. The card is beautifully designed and of course the sentiment is sweet. I love the little raffia tie. It's adds a little something but doesn't make it too bulky. As with other cards I've ordered from Amazon, the envelope doesn't arrive in great condition, which is a bummer.

Nice card

Pretty Mother's Day card

This might have saved me from hours in the greeting card aisle finding just the right card. It is a little banged up from being in a box with other items, but not ridiculously so. If you're one of the people who want a separate bag at the store for a card so it's still pristine, amazing, and perfection before you hand it off to USPS, this could be a drawback for you. I'm going to flatten it under a heavy book before sending it and will be totally ok with this plan. The card feels like a nice quality paper stock, printed with the same design on the front and inside, tied with a raffia ribbon. The inside sentiment is printed on another piece of paper, glued inside to flap around a bit as you open it. It doesn't say it will need extra postage, so I'll assume it doesn't. The card does show that it was produced using sustainably sourced paper, which is a nice touch, with a market value of 6.99.
