nice face

Love the face, hate the strap. I have a narrow wrist. Hard to adjust the length because the links are large. It's either too loose or too tight. Bought this for the clock face and will try to find another strap to fit.

Came in good condition!

Just going through my orders and saw this watch that I'm wearing as we speak. Not sure when I bought it but it still works after about (2) battery changes so I can definitely say it's a good watch. I'm going to get another one so, get it!

Great size and style.

I've only had this watch for a few weeks so far but it's exactly the size and style I was searching for. Needed to adjust the strap to fit my wrist but it was simple to do if you have the tools. Haven't exposed it to water too much to test it's water resistance ability yet, so can't say for sure on that. For the price and the style, I love it so far. The only minor thing I would wish in its aesthetic is that I wish it were a duller silver, it's a very mirror type of shiny. Still very happy with my purchase.

The watch size is good--not to wide, not too narrow. The dial is hard to read because it is silver, not white shell as listed on Amazon. The band adjustment is very difficult, not your typical pin arrangement. No instructions are given to adjust the band. The price is very fair considering the quality and the issues encountered so I did not return it. edit--I tried to give Amazon the feedback that the watch has a silver dial as others have also reported. They want me to include a barcode etc, but I threw all that out. Amazon--you really should listen to your customers--why would I ever make that up? Order one and see for yourself--the face is not white pearl, it is brushed silver. new edit: 6 months later--Still works and looks great! I wear it EVERY day, at work as a nurse where believe me it is not treated very carefully and gets wet from all the handwashing. I am so glad I bought it, and continue to get compliments on it. The intitial adjustment of the band was a complete pain, but had it not been for that, I'd have given it 10 stars. (at this price, take it to a jeweler for the adjustment)

Casio es uno de los mayores fabricantes de relojes de cuarzo desde 1974. Estos se caracterizan por su alta calidad y atención por el detalle. Aunque este modelo es ensamblado en China, todas sus piezas y componentes son fabricados en Japón. Este modelo es de acero inoxidable con muy buena calidad que incluso se siente al tacto. Definitivamente luce de muchísimo más precio de lo que cuesta. No duden en comprarlo. Casio siempre será un referente de garantía japonesa en su máxima expresión.

Classic and not too dainty

I've always wanted to have a square faced watch but didn't want to break the bank. I read most of the reviews about this watch. Though I'm not all that sold on its overall look and not exactly what I had in mind, I decided to take a chance when the price went down a bit. The watch diameter isn't that big. As one comment pointed out, the watch dial isn't white as described (if it is, that would have improved its readability and appearance). Instead, it has a silver, shiny finish, not providing any contrast with the silver numerals. Hence, I took out one star out. No complaints with the band size being too big as I prefer that it sits and an inch off my wrist anyways. Its versatile enough for dressy, professional and casual outfits. I love the classic ladies watches but not being too small or dainty, so this one fits the bill especially with its affordability. If it lasts me more than 3 years, then I consider it well worth an investment.

Great Little Watch for the Price

Once popular into the 1940s, these square face watches are cool again, and moreover, this little Casio is a terrific bargain. A watch, I'd describe as small and sturdy, and likely not suitable for formal ware, it's great for every day use. With such a small dial, it would be underwhelming on a tall person, but on my wife whose less than 5 feet, this is the perfect complement. After two weeks, the watch keeps accurate time. She likes the steel expansion band, which, not surprisingly, had to be resized. My only complaint is that the stem is not geared to remain up during setting; constant pressure must be supplied to change the time. This feels a bit clunky. But this little square face is a terrific bargain for the right person and I'd highly recommend it.

Not a nice watch

The picture does not give you an accurate idea of what the watch is really like. It is heavy, thick and clunky. Got this for my mom who lives in a retirement home and misplaces her watch often. She refuses to wear it because it is not comfortable. Bought a slim citizen for twice the price instead that she loves. For the price I guess it's okay, still I would not recommend it.
