GOOD FIT
I I bought these pants for my 11yr old son (will be 12 in November). He is 5'4" and 235lbs. I ordered the 3xl because the 2xl was too snug and the belt is way too short. He is a D lineman. These pants were on the pricey side but they are durable and will get a couple of years of wear before we have to buy the next pair. Anything the Big Boi wears is a lil more costly because of his size but for a big man, his shoes, shoulder pad, and football pants MUST fit appropriately, they are too important to his performance.

Too small, had to return.
My son is at the too-big-for-kids, too-small-for-men size. Depending on brand he fits in youth xl to men’s small. Often the youth XL is too small & men’s small is too big. At Old Navy, XXL/size 18 kids is just right. His waist is 29” and he has a large back end. Despite these being size men’s small, These were way too small! Had to send them back. The pads were sturdy & protective but they wouldn’t go over his hips

Belt too short but pants fit well
My son is about 5’6” and 185 lbs with a lineman build. The pants are perfect but the belt is way too short. I’m going to look for a longer belt to put on these. Update* After two seasons the thigh pad pocket stitching has come undone. Not a big deal but a bit of a nuisance when the pad slips out. My younger son is 5’6” and 150 and these are a tad big but wearable.

Sizing is inaccurate.
My son is a men's small. But these were snug.. Quality looks good tho so we're just going to exchange. My advice is to order up a size..

The pants were perfect for my nephews!
I bought these football pants for my nephews who play on a local team. They needed black pants before they went to Jacksonville to play in the Offense-Defence tournament. The product worked as advertised and I would purchase again when they need larger sizes.
