Great for larger hips / bottoms ... detailed review.

The reason for the "somewhat large" rating I gave is a PLUS for the curvier woman. These scrubs are perfect for the larger hips and butt. Stick figures or even average body types will probably find these too large. I am 5'9", have a thin waist and large hips -- I weigh about 190 and am a size 16/18 on the bottom and a 16 on the top. XL works well for me. If you. Buying most scrubs is difficult because the cut is based on a pretty average body shape. The drawstring waist is great for providing a "figure" shape and being flattering to hips. They don't ride up as easily in the back as the boxy cut scrub. Also they are pretty flexible. Very generous in the bust/ top half as well, so if you are small-breasted, these might be baggy for you. Also if you're a little 'droopy' (sorry.... ) then the waist might sit too high for your liking. I wear a 38D and the top part is a little big on me. I don't mind that, as I always wear a cami or long sleeve undershirt. The V-neck is also very flattering as it draws attention up -- but it's thankfully sewn well and is not too low. Nothing revealed, so to speak. These wash well -- I wash in cold water and spot treat anything ahead of time if needed. I do not put any of my scrubs in the dryer because I don't want shrinkage, so if shrinkage IS a problem for people who put scrubs in a dryer -- then I have no idea if they shrink or not. I have worn them out of the package (have not done a pre-wash) and a light steam iron takes care of the fold wrinkles, but otherwise, I hang them on a hanger after washing and have no wrinkles at all. I think they dry quickly being hung up -- you can have them the next day! I have this top in almost every color and am considering buying back ups because Cherokee is known to raise prices and discontinue items. It's such a pain to find something in the new lines that fit right.

Great quality and true to size

Great color, fit, quality, stretch. Sizes can run small. I went 2 sizes up. I’m a size 24. Usually a 3x. I bought the 5x and fits perfect.

Great for the price!

For the price I think this is excellent. One of my go to scrubs. Unfortunately I bought it in navy and the material attracts a lot of lint, probably doesn't help that I have a white dog also but I do have to lint brush this top. I bought the ceil color also and that one I do not have to lint brush. I wear xs for the urbane sophie top and I wear an xs for this also.

Best scrub tops for girls with girlish figures!

I had just started my career in the health care field and was having a seriously hard time finding scrub tops that fit me. I am pear shaped, so smaller on the top with big hips. In order to find tops that would fit over my hips I would have to order bigger sizes, but the arms and chest would be huge! I felt frumpy and I didn't feel I looked professional. I ordered one of these tops just to try it out and fell in love! They wear well and accent my girlish figure. These Cherokee scrubs tops are the only tops I will wear and I now own tons of them!

Bust not same size as hips so this is the perfect top for me!

I love this top! My top half and bottom half are somewhat disproportionate so I need to have tops that can accommodate my wider hips. If I purchase more traditional style tops in my "hip size," the top looks too big. If I purchase traditional v-neck tops in my bust size, it's tight across my hips. The tie mock wrap gives me some definition in my waist and still fits my hips. I am a nursing student and we were able to choose our shirt style (while staying in the Cherokee Core Stretch brand), and I am sticking with this one!

Cute style on some, just not me.

I bought this in the same size as all my other Cherokee tops but this one makes my apple shaped body look like a stuffed sausage. I was hoping it would help hide the tummy but it didn't. I still love the stretch material though. I know this is a cute style, it just isn't my favorite. Makes my boobs look HUGE!

Pleasantly surprised!

I wasn't expecting to like these tops as much as I do. The cut is very comfortable and the fabric stretches just enough. The length is also great. I got a 4xl and it covers my rear end. The sleeves are a good length too - short enough to look more feminine, but they do cover my bat wing arms. Love Cherokee Workwear scrubs!

Lux uniform classy

I absolutely love this lux scrub. It is so comfortable. The material is so, so soft and has a glistening sheen. For someone who gets frustrated with the typical scrub and feeling like they look so dumpy, I am so excited to finally have a sharp looking scrub. The fit is excellent The bust does not gape when leaning over to do patient care which is a huge plus for me as a nurse provider. I can't wait to buy more of this fabric and scrub. This is finally a scrub top that offers some classiness, yet has so much comfort.

it did not look very nice on me

Overall it is okay. However, on me it just didn't look right. I purchased because I have a much smaller waist and large hips and thought this would fit my figure well. My chest is not particularly big (C), but when I pulled in the string and it bunched, it made my upper half look boxy. The pull string is right below the breast as well, which seemed odd when it bunched below one and not the other. Overall, it did not look very nice on me, and I ended up returning it. Wish the length was longer too! Ah well!

Bought a size bigger(2XL) expecting to fit small. The fit is really good and size is pretty accurate. Also for large chested women it gives enough room and the draw string hits in a good spot.
