Great 1/4 Metric Impact sockets
Been using these for around 10 months, still work great. I use them with my Bosch impact and my 1/4 Milwaukee Power ratchet. Great Socket set!

Stubby and sturdy
Had these for years. I think I will get another set for my son in law. It's our goto set

Has all the sizes
Since I was looking for 1/4 inch drive impact sockets in both Metric and SAE, this review will be the same for: Chicago Pneumatic SS2114 1/4"Drive 14 Piece Metric Impact Socket Set and Chicago Pneumatic SS2010 1/4"Drive 10 Piece SAE Impact Socket Set In looking through Amazon, there seemed to be a few very good choices in the 1/4 inch drive size that had good reviews. What pushed me to the Chicago Pneumatic sets was the fact that they have every socket with no sizes missing (12 mm seemed to be commonly left out and was a thorn in several reviews). When the sockets arrived, my first thought was of the sturdy plastic box - both that it is far stronger than most shipping boxes and also that it could be much smaller. Opening the nice latch on each of the boxes revealed a specific spot for each of the sockets. I would imagine that someone could cut the lid off the box and use it as an organizer for the sockets in a tool cart. The sockets themselves are well made - perfect machining on the outside with some minor burrs and slightly off-center through holes (1/2 point off the score). Instead of a smooth interior to the square drive area, or machined in divots, each socket has a hole drilled through so it will work with pin retention, the little ball or a hog ring. The remaining 1/2 point deduction comes from the size marking on the sockets. Each socket is both laser marked and stamped - which seems perfect. Except that the stamped mark is rather small for my eyes and the laser engraving which has the potential to be excellent is mostly used with a big CP and a little size marking. In the end, I will live with the (could be better) size markings, be happy that all the size increments are included and look forward to picking up the Chicago Pneumatic 3/8 drive size version of these sets.

CHICAGO PNEUMATIC HAS A GREAT REPUTATION FOR FINE TOOLS!!!
Right out of the box I was able to identify these impact sockets as: Sturdy, Well built, Nicely individually labeled, in a great carry case, And an all around great bargain. When a tool is needed, the one thing we don't need is to find it, break it, stop the project and go find a replacement and,,, well you get the picture. These 1/4 inch drive impact sockets look and feel like they'll be around for a long long time. Where are they built? Well there's the question most all of us have. They're built in Taiwan. Better than in China but not as desirable as if they were built in oh, ,, Chicago or someplace like that. All in all, these are WELL worth their price and offer a feeling of confidence in their quality. I priced a similar set from the two-letter tool company and they were well over $100. Want to impress your friends with how well you can spend your money? Get SK. Want to get the repair done and have enough money left over to take your honey out to dinner? Get these. Thanks //(~_~)\\ AU

Great Sockets
been using these for the past 3 or 4 months on my ingersoll rand 3/8ths Titanium impact that i also reviewed and bought on here and i figured for the price, the minute i used em on the IR impact, i'd destroy them but to the contrary they have lasted and are in great shape. i have tried destroying them, and with the ft lbs of torque that the IR has, i've tried some adventurous stuff and the most surprising was an engine mount, i used the impact and the 18 and jacked the transverse inline 6 in the LR2's up enough to get one of the bolts started, and just gave er hell with that impact and socket, and it just pulled it right up in place and everything looked like new when i was done. the sockets are still plainly readable, it hasn't worn off, they have been thru hell and back and aren't mis-shapened, cracked, rounded, nothing. i've hammered them onto rusty bolts with a lil 10lb sledge, and then had to whip them at the floor and put them in a vice to hammer out those same bolts, and they look great and are lasting way better than i thought. i saved myself a ton of money too, compared to the snappy and matco tools sets. great for the money, even if they were 50 more dollars it'd be a great set, and got them in a timely fashion from the dealer.

Good quality, good price
I got these for $13. Normally that's the cost of a single socket. They were all covered with a thin coat of oil so they wouldn't rust. The metal is solid and holds up to impacting thus far. Chicago Pneumatic is my go-to value brand. The same guys that make this make the same bits for ingersoll rand, master force, craftsman and campell hausfield I'm convinced. I've heard other guys in tool-forums state that as a fact, that one manufacturer makes bits for all those guys to the different companies specs. Chicago Pneumatic does zero advertising. All their money goes into the tool, that's why they're cheaper. Kind of like how in the grocery store you have the Safeway cornflakes made by proctor and gamble next to the Kellogs cornflakes made by proctor and gamble and no one can taste the difference but everyone thinks the Kellogs cornflakes are better. That's my 2 cents anyway. The actual air tools that drive the sockets are a different story I think.

Great little set
They are well packed in this reinforced case. Mine arrived well oiled, which I hope will make them last longer and rust free. There is no 24, though. One expects the set to include it or to have space for it. Anyway, a great set in a handy carry case.

Chicago Pneumatic. The best that there is in impact tools.
Chicago Pneumatic is a synonymous name with impact tools especially pneumatic air and electric impact tools. Do not confuse this iconic American company with Chicago Electric. The latter is a generic tool company who makes entry level midrange tools in China. The 3/8 inch impact sockets are very good quality and comes in a nice sturdy plastic storage box. The size is metric meaning mm and has a good range across various sizes. It does skip some sizes but nothing unsusual. The size markers on the sockets are very easy to read and comes in real handy while finding the right size. I am giving one star less as the seller mentioned the model as SS3113D whereas the actual model is SS3113. The D stands for Deep meaning deep impact socket whereas the model I received was the shallow impact sockets i.e. SS3113. Nevertheless it is a nice product and will last a lifetime. P.S. For those interested this isn't a Made in USA set, it is Made in Taiwan. But quality is uncompromised and very well made.

great set
The thing I like about this 1/4" drive impact socket set is that it is designed for lighter duty applications so it is made with a much thinner wall than the 3/8" drive impact sockets of the same size. Now I can use these for applications that my 3/8" drive set won't fit. I also like the fact that the set has all the sizes within the range of the set so I won't be left with every socket but the one I need. The size is clearly marked on the case as well as etched in an easy to read white color on the socket. They also stamped the sizes into the socket in case the more visible etched sizes ever wears off. I love the sturdy plastic case which even has enough space for me to fit in my 1/4" hex to 1/4" square drive adapter right above the sockets so it is always handy.

Very nice
High quality socket set at a great value from a top brand, Chicago Pneumatic. I used these a few times since receiving and they've worked as expected and buts and bolts didn't get stuck in them after using an impact to remove them.
