My dog is obsessed with this toy.
My dog loves to play fetch, but there is something about this boomerang that drives him a little bit manic. If it's in the trunk of the car (hatchback), he somehow knows it's there and starts freaking out. If it's on a tabletop--even if my dog hasn't recently seen anyone place it on the tabletop, and he isn't tall enough to see the boomerang--he somehow knows it's there and doesn't want to do anything else but dance around at the edge of table in an attempt to will the boomerang to him. If this boomerang is in the house, he's not interested in playing with any of his other toys. It's like the toy is laced with something. It's a little disturbing, actually. It makes him happy as all get-out when we take him to the park and play fetch with this, and he doesn't lose interest in the toy even if he's panting and in need of a break. I docked a star because my dog chewed through the lining within the first few minutes of unpacking it from the Amazon box. As long as we keep him moving and chasing after the boomerang, all is good, but it's not a durable toy. He likes to chew but he's not that destructive of a chewer. So keep that in mind and always monitor your dog when s/he plays with this.

Fun Toy in the Water, Easy to Throw and Good Size
We got the medium sized one for my 41-lb mixed, medium sized dog. This toy is great. We have multiple Chuckit! toys, but this one is probably our favorite. The width of the boomerang is not wide, where our dog can easily grab it in the water without looking uncomfortable or taking in too much water. I've found other watertoys to be too light to get good distance when throwing, but this floats through the air nicely. The mix of texture (rubber/fabric) keeps my dog interested in the toy. She's not a super aggressive chewer, but likes to nibble/chew on things - we've used it a couple times for a few hours and it still looks great and has yet to show signs of major wear (although, we don't leave it around for her to just chew on). If this starts to show major wear, I'll patch it up or will buy another. I recommend this toy.

Ruckus likes the Frisbee's better as they stay in the air longer and which allow him to actual catch in flight. Also the boom is smaller than the Frisbee's Fast Delivery way cheaper than in the stores. I have turned my 80lb American Bulldog into a Frisbee dog, he loves them. This is not a toy you can just let them chew on though depending on dog size since they will eventually get destroyed. I replace them every 3-4 months and use two at a time. He does not like to drop it unless I have another one ready to throw : ) Love that they float as they are great at the beach or in the river as well. I have multiple products from this brand and Ruckus loves all of them.

awesome water fetch toy.
This is a great fetch toy for when the ball is not appropriate in certain situations. Only thing is, being a boomerang it doesn't come back unless the dog comes back with it. LOL. lost the first one already. so bought 2 more. they are fun. fantastic for ocean play. it can go a good distance out. durable and fun. only thing, and its not a product flaw its choices thing. We are not able to choose between the orange or the green when ordering. I tend to get green and thats a hard color to track. I would prefer to be able to get the orange on. that is easy to see in the water and on land.

Nitro's Favorite Toy
Nitro is my 2 year-old Golden Retriver. He has a tendancy to be pretty rough on his toys, but the Chuckit Amphibious Boomerang lasted him well over a year before I had to get him a new one. Believe me, I HAD to get him a new one. This toy is durable, waterproof, and there is no stuffing that can be ripped out and deposited all over the house. As tough as it is however, it eventually will get chewed up, but even then held together with no small parts coming out that a dog could choke on. It has no squeaker, so my Border Collie wasn't interested in it in the least. Nitro, however, only wants to play with this. If your dog likes to chase after something and bring it back to you about a thousand times a day, this is the toy for your pup.

Excellent addition to our flying objects!
Our dog LOVES flying discs (Frisbee's) and often doesn't always bring them back to the porch when she's ready to come inside. We went ahead and got this as an addition to our flying object collection so that when her discs are scattered in the yard we have a back up object to throw for her... our dog is a bit neurotic in the sense that she won't go out into the yard in the mornings unless we throw a disc/object for her! it's a routine she'll never break.. Anyway, wasn't looking for much in expecting this to be all that interesting for her since it doesn't float/fly like a flying disc, but to my surprise she loves it all the same! Great quality and highly recommended. No experience with it around water yet...

Very happy Weim
Got this for my 1 year old Weimaraner. He loves all the chuckit "flying" products. This is our 4th. We have two circular flying ones, a triangular one which is his absolute favorite and now this boomerang which brings in points with his human 8 year old brother who is the head thrower of all these toys for Pluto. What I really like about the boomerang in particular is that it is small enough to stick in your pocket. its light and durable and my pup will stop playing with balls and sticks and be completely out of breath but you pull this out of your pocket and he will keep going and going..

Not made well
We have one for about 2 years she loved it well it finally started to fall apart. So I ordered this one and didn’t even last a week. So disappointed.

Chuckit boomerang
I love this Boomerang - so do my 2 Labs. We use it when we go to the sea and river, probably twice or 3 times per week and it never fails to entertain my Labs. The quality is amazing, I love all Chuck It toys anyway is always wroth the extra money. TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT

Cheaply made.
I’m a fan of chuckit, Their products used to be tough, but sadly no more. This split down the seam on very first day of play. I did a return but then my dog chewed it apart and. Husband threw it in the garbage not knowing I was sending it back. My loss,. Had a frisbee that. Came apart in no time too . Not sure what happened to chuckit quality, must be made in China now.

GIOCO RESISTENTE
Questo gioco , perfettamente galleggiante, è piaciuto molto alla mia labrador e devo dire che fino ad ora si è dimostrato anche resistente ai suoi denti robusti quando lo stringe forte per non farmelo riprendere. E' fatto molto bene ma è anche un pò caro e spero quindi che duri per molto tempo.
