Initial quality is very impressive

Just received these but I’m already impressed by the size and thickness of the metal. Not sure how durable they will be over time, but I’m sold on the initial quality. Also, they are spring loaded which is a nice feature. You can lock them closed.

Best Shears available.

Great Price for Great Cutting Shears. Tried many brands but these are my shops go to shears when cutting heavy materials. Old and/or dull shears can cause injuries. I learned the hard way and find these shears are saving me the heavy cost of medical issues. I've cut everything from plastics, heavy cardboard, carpet, and light sheet metal. Have two models, this one and one size smaller and I will be getting more. Great shears.

These shears are perfect! I needed something that would cut through thick/tough dog treats (like jerky or ears) that normally require tin snips. Tin snips, however, were awkward, often couldn't cut them, and certainly didn't make a straight cut so I found these at a local hardware store and they are absolutely perfect! Turns out they are good for lots.of other things and they've never left my kitchen counter. My family knows when I find something like this they ALL get it as a gift at one point or another. So, these shears were this year's "must have" Christmas present!

Best cutter for all round use in the yard/garden.

From my standpoint, the ease of use when cutting a variety of materials/grasses/weeds is excellent for its size. The way it is made, allows the squeezing action which makes it much easier to use than one without it. I have both this squeezable one and an older style that operates without the spring feature. I get much more use on cutting without my hand growing tired and needing to take a break due to that factor. Wouldn't be without it now.

Love love love

Great for cardboard where a box cutter is clumsy and could cause injury, these allow for more controlled cutting action and I've found myself reaching for them a lot more than I'd expected. I also have several different types of Fiskars including those with the spring for cutting ease, but I keep gravitating to this pair more than any. I may try them on cutting apart chicken wings. I don't see them suggested for that. I'll update the review if it's a bad idea.

I didn't actually get these for metal. I just wanted some really powerful scissors. They cut through several layers of cardboard like butter though.

Sehr stabile Schere für Anspruchsvolle Aufgaben

Leider sind die Griffe nicht/schlecht entgratet so dass man das selbst nachholen muss. Die Feder, die die Schere öffnet sieht nicht besonders vertrauenswürdig aus. Ich hoffe sie springt mir nicht um die Ohren ..
