Comfortable shoes for wide width
I usually would prefer not to get shoes online specifically due to wide width requirement. Many a times a shoe marked as wide, are not truly wide and still narrow. However, I have used Clarks in past and the wide was not very snug but just right fit. These are well built. The fitting at toe is right for my feet. The arch support is good and length is just a slight bit longer. They look good on Jeans or Business Casuals pair of pants! I hope with proper care they will last a long time.

Solid shoe but not friendly to orthotics
Let me say up front I do like the shoe. It’s great for everyday wear (I’m a professor) and stylish enough to go with most of my clothes. It seems well made and has sturdy soles, two requirements for someone who is on their feet a lot teaching. I also have big feet (14W) and this was one of the few brands I found in my size, so kudos to them for thinking of the big guys. I also wear special orthotics for plantar fasciitis. Normally this just means taking out the insole of new shoes and inserting my special insoles. However, Clark’s has made that incredibly difficult because they GLUE their insoles in the shoe! It took me over half an hour to peel the insole out in little chunks. It was really glued tight. Even now there are still residual elements of foam that I just can’t get out and which causes slight discomfort under my orthotics. Not sure I’d buy this brand again. Summary: good shoe but not friendly to people who wear orthotics.

These feel more cheaply made than my previous Clarks
I've been a fan of Clarks for a long time. They are easily the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. MY previous Waves (I don't recall the exact model) finally gave up the ghost after about 8 years. The sole started separating and while I may be able to glue them back together, they are no longer up to the task of my daily trek back & forth to work - about 5 miles round trip. The first thing I noticed is the sole feels cheap. Instead of the high density rubber I'm used to, these feel somewhere between foam and plastic. However, after the first week they feel fine and seem to be holding up so only time will tell. As long as I gert at least a year out of theses I will be pleased and purchase again.

My Feet never hurt with these Shoes. These are the most comfortable Shoes I can find. I have that Plantar problem in my Foot. But these shoes make it go away. Now I run around like a teenager! LOL.

A great looking and comfortable shoe, made well at a friendly price
This shoe is my new every day shoe It is comfortable to wear, and easy to put on. Your mileage may vary, but I still need a long handled shoehorn to get mine on. I've had surprising amount of compliments on it. I have no idea how long it will last, but no reason to suspect I might not be pleased with this. Good materials and quality construction as near as I can tell.

Husband would recommend
Had to replace my husband Clark’s and I was looking for something similar to the ones he has. These were very close to the style he had. After introducing him to Clark’s years ago. He won’t wear any other dress shoe now. There comfortable, he can wear them all day with any discomfort and they last. These one fit true to size. He is an 8.5. And they look good with any pant.

Wrong size tag
Ordered 7W but it was too large though the tag in the shoes was 7W. It was as large as 9W.
