Great for hiding a dingy fire pit!

I truly love my fire pit. It's just a cheap Ol piece of rusty metal. So, it's not appealing unless there's a fire going in it. This cover is great material. Maybe if I'd used this cover earlier, I wouldn't have a rusty fire pit. Anyhow, It's a great cover!

So satisfied, I'm buying again after 5 years

We own a large metal firepit, and about 5 years ago we purchased this cover for it. It fit just fine even though it was a bit large. This made no difference, thanks to the buckles for the legs and the cord that is easily cinched down to the perimeter, tightening the cover snugly and securely without problems. Last year (2018) we did not get around to having a fire in our backyard due to the burn ban in our area, so we never uncovered it. After some turbulent weather during those 2018 and 2019, including one microburst, the cover finally showed wear and tear in the form of moss and one large hole in the side where a tree branch must have hit it. We removed the cover and were surprised (and a bit embarrassed) to see the leftover ash from the last fire we had had at least two years prior. It was completely dry and didn't even show signs of having been wet at any time! The metal was still rust-free. Needless to say, we are purchasing the same cover again. I just hope the manufacturer has not changed its supplier and downgraded its quality in the process, but we shall see!

I'm pleased with the fit of this cover, but it faded after one month. Read my update.

UPDATE: After about a year of use, my Veranda firepit cover developed several tears in the fabric. Since the damage occured well within the warranty period, and the defect is a covered item, I visited the Classic Accessories website and completed a warranty claim form. I was required to provide information from the product tag, as well as to upload a .pdf copy of the invoice and JPEG photo of the defect. A few weeks later, I received a replacement cover in the mail. Classic Accessories does stand behind its product, so order with confidence. I purchased the 60-inch Veranda cover for a 45-inch diameter (round) x 16-inch high firepit constructed of stone.The cover fits snugly over the top of the firepit and down the sides, exposing only 4-inches of the stone. The cover includes buckles that are supposed to wrap around the legs of a traditional metal firepit which are not used in my application, but the cover fits so snugly and can be cinched tighter by the elasticized cord, that the buckles aren't necessary. Overall, I'm pleased with the fit of this cover and it's appearance is much better than the tarp I was using which was held in place with bricks to keep it from flying away, but after only a month, the cover had faded badly, and the dark brown now looks greenish.

Decent Cover

I got this cover for an in ground permanent fire pit. I was hesitant because it looked to me like it was for one with legs that can be moved. Mine is brick and has a 4" lip at the top, but someone else said it worked for theirs, so I figured I'd give it a Shot. My fire pit is 57" across and this cover barely fit but it does fit, so I'm happy about that. It was able to wrap around the top tier of rocks which is all I was really hoping for. I just need to keep the water out of the burner. I think if I had a firepit that tapered it would probably be okay with 60", but if you are trying to fit this on a permanent firepit that is built out of stone and it is 60", it won't work. The material appears to be high quality and seems like it will last. I'm glad it came with a three year warranty, just in case. All in all, I am satisfied with this product.

UPDATE: Although the process to submit a warranty claim is more complicated than it needs to be, the company did honor its 3-year warranty and shipped me a new cover. It arrived quickly. I'm upgrading my rating to 4 stars for the outstanding customer service. However, the top did tear, and when I went to get more product information as required to file the claim, it tore more. This cover has a very clean, classic look. However, the top tore on mine several months ago after two years of use and now I am undergoing an onerous warranty process. If you are not the kind of person to make a claim on a warranty, this product might be fine for you. It is generously sized and has a good weight. But mine tore right at the top, where the screen ring puts some pressure against the fabric. If you do a warranty claim, go to the company's website and read the "submit a claim" page carefully so you are prepared with everything you need.

Decent, but tore in one year

We recently put in a new gas firepit and I was looking for something to cover it and protect the glass inside. This little cover is just perfect. It is not terribly deep - maybe a foot - but covers our firepit just perfectly. Matches my other patio furniture covers too. Update - one year later and the cover has a few tears in it. I reached out to the manufacturer and they replaced it with a new one.

Works great!

This product is as expected. I like the material and it holds up well considering it exposed to the elements year round. I use this cover on a custom stone fire pit I built. The size works perfect for it. The sun does break it down and make it brittle but I was expecting that. I buy this same one and replace it once every 1-2 years. I recommended this product. I think the price is fair for the quality.

Excellent quality

I ordered this firepit cover for my outdoor firepit which is one of the steel ones sitting inside a concrete block enclosure, so is quite large overall and very difficult to find a cover for that can span the entire thing. Any I found that were wide enough were also ridiculously deep and my firepit is less than a foot high so there would be a huge mass of fabric piled on top. This one is proportionately sized for the type of stone or concrete firepit so it actually fits. The fabric is very heavy-duty and looks like it will outlast the firepit. Great product!

Fits as described. Thick strong material seems like it should last a few years. Very reasonable price Only concern is the pull tabs cause material to bunch up and will not tighten as much as I hoped but the buckles will prevent it from flying away. Beware if using on a pit or table that is smaller than 50" Would recommend

GREAT firepit cover

This firepit cover is very sturdy and well made, easy to put on and remove. I was expecting it to be more waterproof but I have no doubt that it will keep the glass tiles on my firepit well protected. Excellent buy.
