Great Value and Support for Closet!
Love 'em! Added support to my closets in my rental house and worked fabulously with tons of clothes! Will include these in my new home with the wired closet racks.

Good buy, but needed modification
I saw a few reviews that mentioned that others had to modify the notch to make these work for their wire shelves. I had to do the same. Luckily, I got the hang of using my Dremel tool and metal discs fairly quickly. My only suggestions to others would be to do all the grinding in an area you can easily clean or do it outside, but not on a windy day. I did my modifications in the pantry and all the metal dust went EVERYWHERE. Most of my cleanup involved a magnet covered with a plastic sandwich bag. Reverse the bag and you’ve got all the metal shavings in one place.

Fits brackets
Easy to install

Slightly longer than the old version
As the title they are a little longer than the much older ones that are being replaced. These are all metal. The old ones attached with a plastic connector which after 20 years have started to get brittle and break

Strong bracket. Improved design, I believe.
BLUF: Great bracket but I took a star off because the screws aren't exactly what I wanted. Read below for more details. I purchased these because when we hung our clothes up in a newly purchased house, the existing brackets all collapsed in the middle of the night and all the clothes fell. The old brackets (ClosetMaid 12" brackets) were bent where the flange met the wall, and I replaced the brackets with this product. A notable difference in the bracket design is a couple beads are pressed into these new brackets (located where the brackets are screwed into the wall) whereas the old brackets did not have them in there; the old bracket flange was flat. I imagine that this was done after some market feedback, because this is where our old brackets bent prior to failing. The new design with the beads rolled into the flange would provide additional support, or increase the maximum bending moment (wink to all the engineers our there), to the flange where the bracket is screwed into the wall. After completing the bracket replacement, the closet rack is much firmer and pulling down on the shelf, even when fully loaded with clothes, is much firmer compared to the previous setup. I opted to use different screws purchased from a home improvement store because I located all the brackets into the wall studs. I wanted a longer wood screw with a pan head that would bite into the stud a bit deeper.

Collapsed under little weight. Make sure shelving doesn’t slip onto brackets.
This collapsed and bent after I started hanging shirts. I didn’t even have anything on top of the shelves. Edit: Did not have wall clips installed so suspect the shelving slipped onto support brackets. They are not designed to handle much weight on their own. Will try again with the clips.

Shelf brackets
These things are worth the money.

They’re what they say they are
Buy them if you need them, they do exactly as they say they do. They’re brackets for wire shelving. The hold the shelves up. That’s it.

Perfect for holding up shelves

Did exactly what it was supposed to do
I used them to support closetmaid shelving. Just keep in mind that the 12 inch is the length of the shelves and not the bracket itself!!!
