Wish it came with more lights
While I love this vest and I love the design I really wish it came with two lights. That way you'd have one in the front and in the back. If the goal is safety you need to be lit from both sides. There are spots to put the light strip on both sides as well, it's just that it only comes with one. Other than that, no complaints.

The rechargeable light strip is an excellent addition to these safety vests. In case it isn't clear (it wasnt to me), there is ONE light strip, that can be placed in the front OR back. It's great, just wish there were two (if only because I assumed there was two). I haven't run the light down, but the info says that it will last 10 hours in solid light, or 12 hours in flashing before needing to be recharged. I think this is impressive. I don't use these for "work", I use these for added visibility when doing outside chores near the road. I live on a very busy, high speed road, and I prefer to have the added visibility when taking out garbage or shoveling or snow blowing. I' tempted to start using these when I go to check the mail, that's how crazy my road is. The only color that really stands out is neon orange or green, and since I don't have a wardrobe with these colors (save for hunting gear), I simply keep these vests on hand. The added reflective strip makes them more appealing safety wise over a similar vest marketed toward hunters. My other use is for keeping in car. These vests tend to be cheap enough, so there is no reason not to buy a few and stick them in your cars if you happen to be a safety minded prepper person (BOB/GO/GH). Suddenly finding yourself stranded on road and need to attend to the car? Well toss the vest on to give drivers earlier notice, and therefor longer reaction time. Or if needing to walk at night, and so on. Simple item to keep on hand. I also keep reflective tape in my safety arsenal too. Add extra stips to vest, or jacket, hats, boots, back pack etc. Main thing to consider is sizing. The sizing is accurate on these things, but it is best to go up a size or two as it is something you will be wearing over clothes and possibly bulky jackets. Better to be big than too small. If you know what you will be wearing this over, you can always measure yourself with that item on then choose accordingly. The possible downside is that the rear reflective strips will start edging towards your sides the larger you go. There is likely plenty of reflective strip and will be noticed, but when it comes to safety I consider all angles. I might add a reflective trip across the shoulders. Other than that, it is pretty basic. Good solid feeling zipper and material. Some offer different features in terms of pockets, pen holders and such. For my needs, I really just need the reflective ability, and with this having the optional flashing (or solid) light, I feel that much more visible. FEATURES: Practical features include two oversized pockets, two mic tabs, and a secure zipper closure Overall: perfectly pleased. Again, just know that this is a 1 light strip item that can be used in one of two spots. Considered down rating for that lack of clarification, but it is possible I missed something. 4.5 stars (so 5)

Additional layer of safety
I like that the best provides an additional layer of safety with the light. The vest could use more pockets especially if it will be used in an actual construction site/zone. The vest would be best for individuals cycling, jogging, crosswalk guards, traffic control, and other light duty applications. Overall it is a good vest with an extra layer of safety but personally I would have wanted it to be more rugged.

The LED light makes a difference
The media could not be loaded. My husband drives frequently at night for work reasons, so having a vest would definitely enhance his roadside kit and make him more visible should he need to change a tire while on the road. We ordered this vest given the LED light that was advertised. My husband is 5’9” and 180 lb, so the Large size is loose for him. You can charge the vest with the enclosed USB cable, although the instructions don’t specify that the charging light will turn from red to green once it’s ready for full use. In the attached video, you’ll see how the LED light becomes handy and also the ability of the vest to reflect light. It would have been great if the vest came with two LED lights, so you could permanently leave one in the front and one in the back instead of having to change position of the single light depending on the type of activity being performed.

Does what it should
Good safety vest for when you need to be seen. The LED light can be placed in the front or back. Only one LED is included, so you have to choose which side to wear it on. Material and reflectors seem decent. Great to have for roadside emergencies.

Nice quality vest...
Nicely made. Reflective works well. The light band fortunately, is flat. It fits in a little velcro pocket across the back or vertical on the front. What nice about the flat profile is that you can sit back on the vest and not notice it except for the spot where the power switch bump is. Another nice thing is that the vest itself is marked where the power button is so that you can see it and push it without guessing which side the power button is on. If anything, the vest can improved with more pockets. There is only one breast pocket, unclosable, and one inside breast pocket which has a tiny velcro strip. There are two black ring straps for the radio clip.

Great fit, definitely High-Vis. Rechargeable LED light/bar is quite clever!
Bought this as a high-visibility safety vest and figured the LED was going to end up being a gimmick. Turns out, it’s quite clever and lights up usefully. Cans be stowed in one of two locations or even handheld to get attention. I hope I never need to end up using this vest in night time conditions where the LED light would be necessary, but the peace of mind of having it with the vest is great! All around great fit, good build construction on the vest, folds up for storage compactly. Great value.
