Comfort and support - I can already tell it's helping!
I tweaked my neck a few weeks back and have had a lot of pain and headaches resulting. My chiropractor mentioned a soft neck brace like this might go a long way towards helping me recover and I'm already so happy I made this purchase! This foam collar isn't going to give the kind of support needed for a major injury, but for my needs it is perfect. It gives just enough support to take some of the extra pressure off muscles that are working hard to heal up. The little dip for the chin also helps keep my head at the right angle instead of pushing it too high upward - it's overall a pretty comfy fit. I wore it for several hours while working my desk job that is particularly hard on my neck. Even when leaning forward, I can feel the brace taking some of the weight and it's a good reminder to correct my posture. I did also manage to fall asleep with it at night, but woke up with it next to me on my night stand, so apparently at some point in the night I yanked it off. Still, I felt much better after even that first day/night of intermittent use, so I'll keep it in my recovery regimen!

Cervical Collar
I opted for the universal collar so that more than one person can wear it as the size goes form small to large in the one items by having more velcro. As some people have already mentioned, it was delivered by Amazon in a pouch so the box the collar was in got completely destroyed--no fault of OTC. I opted for th 2.5" height which is never indicated on the box. When I first saw it I thought it as very skinny but upon placing it on the neck it fit well. The one problem I find is that the foam is very pliable so that you really do not keep the neck to immobile. I was also disappointed that there was no material covering over it to keep it clean and sweat free, I am thinking of putting an old bandana around it.

Helps a lot
I was surprised that this has helped me so much. I have neck arthritis pretty bad, giving me headaches (actually, have arthritis pretty much everywhere one can have arthritis). Also, the 'crunches' when I moved my neck concerned me. So I thought I'd try this collar. It has really helped me in the short time I've been wearing it. No more headaches (amazing!). It keeps my head at the right position so I don't get the crunchy sounds much, which I imagine would keep the situation from worsening. I do NOT want to have spinal surgery. I only wear it a few hours a day and don't sleep with it (I think I would find that uncomfortable). So glad I got it.

Comfy for CPAP but Size up
It works well for keeping my mouth closed while I sleep with CPAP therapy. i will be buying the next size up when I purchase again. I'm small, but to be truly comfortable all night a size up is needed.

Works Good! Keeps you from twisting your neck when working on a computer.
I tend to lean forward and hunch my neck when I work on a computer. This helps me keep it straight which relieves my neck muscles. It's not uncomfortable to wear and goes on and off super quick. I measured my neck and it told me to order medium but that was too small, so i ordered Large instead. I found the narrow was good for general use. It gave me more wiggle room. I was not wearing this for an injury but rather to prevent neck discomfort. So I wanted more mobility.

Comfortable
I recently had a herniated disk surgery. Bought this as a send neck brace and I liked it better than the one the Dr gave me. Also more comfortable to wear on plane travel than the neck pillow sold at airports

Great for CPAP users, but Sizing Instructions not really accurate
I read most of the reviews (complaints) about too small, so I made sure that my neck size measurement was at the bottom of the range and there was a 2" added slack beyond that in the range of the collar. The problem is this isn't a narrow shirt collar thing, the slope of your neck/chest and the underside of your jaw/upper neck is takes up some space inside the collar and is in fact larger than the neck measurement alone. You have to allow for that "enlargement" in the collar when ordering. I think the instructions should tell you to add 2 inches to your "Naked" neck measurement and make sure the size range you choose will include that number. In my case my neck measurement (not shirt size) is 19.5 inches plus 2 inches is 21.5. The collar x-large range was 19.5-21.5 inches, is a little snug but does fit and will probably break in (stretch) over time and be less "snug". The product is a little to soft and could use a little more support for my use. Loss of 1 star for too soft, loss of 2 stars for poor sizing information. If you use your neck size and that number is at the top end of the size range - I can guarantee this will never fit. This sizing information I am recommending is based on you getting the right height to put pressure on the underside of the jaw to hold your head firmly upright. If you order something too narrow which will fasten tighter and be closer into the neck (less impacted by curvature of lower neck and upper jaw) - the 2 inch add will be too much. In my case the measurement from the "notch" to the underside of the jaw was 2 inches, but I wanted to make sure to apply plenty of pressure against the jaw and ordered the 3" side collar. That turned out to be just right. BTW, I took old white sock, cut out toe and slid collar into it - so I have a "sock based pillow case" to keep the collar cleaner - the only part that will get dirty are the ends where the Velcro fastens that are "sock" less. You would think this company would sell a "pillow case" as an add on accessory to the collar - but the sock will work - just not the prettiest. Hope this helps someone. 3.4.2021 - added back 2 stars. Discovered that wearing this stops the mouth breathing and mouth leaks that I have on Nasal Mask based CPAP use. These leaks and mouth breathing events reduce the effectiveness in preventing apnea. Have gone from 10-15 apneas per hour to 1-5 and am much less tired. Every CPAP respiratory therapist/supply house in the world should know this and use it for all their hard core mouth breathing patients like me. Using my recommended sizing changes above.

Useful for Keeping Jaw in Position during Sleep
Folks with Sleep Apnea can help minimize their AHI by keeping their jaw in the correct position. This helps!

Serves the purpose
Size is bigger than measurements say . I had to tighten it past velcro setting but needed it right away so no time to send back & reorder. Also wish there was my size in black as they do get dirty quickly being white . Otherwise worked well & served the purpose ...was comfortable.

Cheap, scratchy and looked used
The quality feels like this thing should cost more like $5. It looked used, the material had different colour lint fluffs on it. The packaging was already open and the box was 3 times bigger than the actual product. To use the product you velcro it around your neck - the velcro is not ergonomically placed so it is very scratchy and uncomfortable to wear. I would not recommend this for neck pain or any other use.

Support and comfort
I had a fall and fractured two vertebrae’s, and after wearing on aspen collar for four months, the soft foam collar was a relief and still give me the support that I needed. I would buy it again if I needed to.

Assez bien
Il a fallu dès le départ recoudre la bande velcro. C'est très bas de gamme mais je n'ai rien trouvé d'autre qui était assez grand, donc c'est OK.

Comfortable
Light and comfortable . It did help alleviate the pain over a short time.
