Absolutely Love it!
This is my second. (My first is black in Lg. but too big) I have lost weight and ordered white Med and it fits great and I wear med in all my tops. Both these shirts I wear hiking. Black on colder days and white on hot sun intense days. My black really heats me up and is a great color for the cooler mornings in the sun. I am taking my white shirt as my all around sun guard for our island hopping trip in June. It looks great with all my tanks and swimsuits! I might take my black one as well because they don't take any space :) Packability is a huge bonus for these shirts when it comes to travel. I am as wise packing as I am shopping. ✔️ Light weight ✔️ Resist wrinkling. And if it does wrinkle, a quick stream from the shower and it's ready. ✔️ Takes very little room. I can stuff it in my purse easily. Plus it's stretchy and ties around my waist really well and doesn't hang down to my knees. ✔️ Durable as far as hiking through brush. I haven't really put it through any huge test. But normal brush with a bush on trail hasn't been a concern. Overall Look: I have a small chest & waist and large hips (pear shape) and this fits me beautifully. It lays so nicely, not clingy either. Lays right below mid hip on me (5'2"), I usually wear a petite but it is still really good. If it comes in a petite I would of rather it. But this may be more flattering anyway, hides my tummy :) Sleeves roll up and secured with a strap. On the side waist area it has a stretchy panel with gives me shape and abiliy to move, twist and turn without feeling tied into my shirt. It is NOT wind or water proof, however, I am planning on spraying it with waterproof, to help shed water when a short rain comes upon me. One pocket...I would really like more, but the pocket is good enough for my ID and Chapstick. I have my pack for the other goodies. Air vent flap lets I. Just enough air for ventilation. Black, no see through even with a black bra. White, i am a modest person and it is fine. If I wear a black sports bra, I can tell it's there and not white, but no biggie. I just love my two shirts and I think I will order other colors because it makes a great cover over my tanks no matter where I go.

Nice shirt for travel
I'm 5'2", 115 lbs, and the XS fit me well with room for another shirt underneath. The white color is thankfully thick enough that the extra shirt is NOT needed, so long as you're wearing a nude / skin-colored bra underneath. The shirt looks really nice, almost good enough to wear to work (aside from that unnecessary logo on the sleeve). The sleeves don't unroll themselves once rolled, and the cuff is actually curved a bit to shield more of your hand from sun and bugs. The zippered breast pocket is kind of a joke -- you can't really store much in there if you've got large breasts, and if you have small ones, a lip balm, ID, or passport will clearly stick out. There is a little gaping between buttons on the shirt when I stretch, but it's not particularly bothersome. Overall, I think this will be great for travel to hot or humid areas, but I'm on the lookout for a similar shirt with more useful storage that I could potentially wear to work. UPDATE: If you're purchasing this for travel where you'll have limited laundry access, and particularly if you're planning on hiking, the white color will NOT be your friend. The basketweave picks up dirt relatively easily, so you're better off choosing a darker or warm-hued color.

Perfect Fit - Does Not Run Small
I read all the reviews saying this shirt runs small, so I ordered both a Small and a Medium fully expecting the small to be too tight. To my surprise, the size small is a perfect fit. I am 5' 5" and 115 lbs and it's a very flattering fit while loose enough to be comfortable. When it first arrived, I was wearing a long-sleeved cotton shirt and I tried on the Columbia shirt over the shirt I was wearing and it was still very comfortable. My advice - if you like a more fitted shirt, order your normal size. If you want a more relaxed fit (like a jacket), then size up one size. I did notice that most of Columbia's clothes have a more relaxed fit, i.e. fleece jackets. This shirt is more fitted, so order your regular size and it should fit. As for the shirt itself, the material is very comfortable and it seems to be of high quality. I ordered this shirt to wear on safari in Africa, and it will be perfect for that purpose. However, I did also order an Ex Officio shirt in a similar style that also has insect protection, so once that arrives I should know which shirt I will be keeping. Overall, I've generally been very happy with Columbia products.

SMALL!!
The shirt is very nice, well made and wonderful fabric. This is a little more refined than the PFG shirts, which is what I was was wanting. If I was taller and thinner, this would be the shirt for me. It has nice feminine lines. The problem is that it is designed for a trim figure. I ordered up based on the reviews, and it is still snugger fit than I like. (5'1. 115lbs)

Love it.
I just received the shirt and haven't worn it out yet so I'll update the review if anything notable happens. I've been looking for a UPF shirt for a while to replace my Koppen that had been pretty beaten up during an ecology field class. I am really really pleased with the fit, especially because this brand is usually big on me. I ordered a size XS and it fits well with a shirt or tank underneath (when I tried it on I was wearing a long sleeve shirt and and a tank) but is also seems OK to be worn alone. For sizing help, I am 5'2", around 105 lbs, about 33 bust and 25 waist. I really like the attention to detail on the bottom of the sleeves. The cut is angled down towards the pinky so that the back of the hand is protected without interfering with dexterity. The fabric seems of good quality, lightweight and durable. It seems like it would travel well. The vents are very subtle. The only thing that makes it look outdoorsy is that the Columbia logo is somewhat prominent on the arm. So far, I'm really happy with the purchase. I'm thinking about ordering another color.

Nice shirt, feels cool in hot weather, washes well, doesn't crease easily
Bought this shirt for travelling in South America. Was a bit concerned how practical it would be, being white. But it washed well and didn't crease. Wore it in deserts, jungles and cities, it felt cool and was good protection against the sun. Only criticism was it was a bit baggy and came up slightly too large. It would have been better if it was slightly more fitted.

Light comfortable shirt
Very nice and light. Perfect for hiking or safari trekking. Sleeves are easy to roll up. Rather on the small side. I am usually a 10 to 12. Medium is ok for me but not wide. Quick drying.

Very nice material, cool feel when wearing
Very nice material, cool feel when wearing. Buttons spaced too far apart so gaping is inevitable, but solved by sewing on a press stud in between 2 of the buttons.

Professional white collared shirt with benefits of a technical brand.
perfect white button down shirt, with all the benefits of technical fabric. Came with makeup stain on one sleeve, but I'm pretty sure it will wash out. Purchased 3, at 16$ each. Basically, I received 3 for less than the price of 1! I'm 5'5, 125 lbs and a XS fit just right. good sleeve length and some stretch at sides for zero button pop. Will fit with thin tank or tee underneath. Planning to wear all summer to stay protected from UV. Pretty pleased with this purchase.
