Where has this been all my life?
My herbs are lasting 4x longer using this herb preserver - I have definitely saved more than I spent purchasing this. I appreciate that it is glass and that it fits on the shelf in the refrigerator door. I can manage about 4-5 bunches of herbs in there at a time. Secret to success is to wash your herbs, remove any bad pieces then cut the ends about an inch up like you would a flower bouquet. Tuck the cut ends into the bottom of the cup and press down on the tops as you lower it into the container to ensure they stay in place. I change the water about once a week or sooner if it looks unclear. Basil doesn't keep in the cold without turning brown, but maybe a day or two works ok but will do far betting in a small cup of water on the counter. If you are trying to make your basil last, buy a plant. I have had great success with all parsleys, cilantro, thyme, dill, rosemary. I am sure most everything will do great but basil and maybe oregano.

Love it!
If finding herbs in your fridge all wet, wilted and generally inedible drives you crazy, this is the product for you. My $0.99 cent cilantro and parsley are going strong on day 7. My cilantro is not as fresh as my parsley because all the stems weren’t in the water. I plan to cook tomorrow with the cilantro—so already I’ve saved $0.99. Won’t be long before they pay for themselves! (Although that argument is a hard sell for my partner). I do love this product. I love that I’m not wasting my fresh spices. I hate throwing out unused herbs.

Didn't Save My Basil
I love to cook with fresh herbs but the trouble is keeping them fresh without getting wilted or soggy. I'm always looking for some way to extend the life of my fresh basil, cilantro, parsley, dill etc. Basil is especially difficult to keep in our humid climate. I saw some reviews that used this to "rescue" their basil so I thought I would give it a try with some sad wilty basil in my fridge. Unfortunately, my basil was not revived in this :( It didn't last any longer than it does in a clamshell or produce bag. Just a couple days after I put it the container, it was full of black spots and more wilted leaves. I'm trying some fresh parsley and dill that I just got today to see if it lasts any longer. Hopefully it works for them. This container is a good concept and I like the pour spout for easy refilling water. Do NOT overfill past the "MAX" line on the white cup or you'll get wet soggy herbs! As for the size - I wish it was bigger. This only fits one bunch of herbs without crowding and I had to trim down the dill quite a bit so that it would be short enough to close the "lid" without smushing it. That being said, it claims to fit in MOST refrigerator doors. I consider my refrigerator to be standard size and this just barely fit in the door. It may be too wide for a more narrow door pocket. Also, BE CAREFUL LIFTING this out of the fridge door. It's glass! And it gets SLIPPERY when condensation builds up. Two hands people and no quick grab a or it could easily slip and shatter. This really is a pretty way to store herbs and I'll have to update this once I see what it does for the dill & parsley. Even though my basil didn't survive, I'm not returning yet.

Impressed
I have tried many methods for keeping cilantro fresh including bag with jar and this by far is the best method. Fits perfectly in fridge door.

Adds some time to herbs
Good quality and looks nice but still lets bottom of herbs rot fairly soon

PLEASE BUY! YOU SERIOUSLY WONT REGRET IT!!
I usually NEVER write reviews for products, but this thing literally had me SHOOK. I bought it maybe 2 months ago and since then have had the same parsley sitting in my fridge! The parsley has yellowed a bit and has probably reached the end of its life now at 2 months, but I can’t believe it even came close to lasting that long! Usually when I buy fresh herbs, I can get like 4-5 days out of them, this things allowed me to keep the same ones in the fridge mess free for two months. Just as a little side note, it instructs you to replace the water every few days, and while this is definitely the best way to use this product, I probably changed my water a total of 3 times in the last two months and even that didn’t become cloudy or gross. This is genuinely one of the best products I have EVER bought and I highly highly highly recommend it to anyone who uses fresh herbs in their cooking.

HUGE space eaters
I saw these on Tiktok and bought immediately. They might have dimensions in the description - 8 confess, I didn’t look. But they will take up the majority of a shelf. I bought 2 thinking I would need more than one for multiple herbs but I think one would hold 4 bunches of herbs easily. I returned them - gonna stick with my mason jar with a freezer bag over top.

This preservers pays for itself.
The amount of herbs I was throwing way plus not having them fresh when I needed them. My herbs stay fresh for a long time. This item has been one of my favourite amazon purchases!

Moldy herbs
My herbs grew mold using this product after 4 days. Also when you add a mix of herbs in of different sizes taking out the herbs was a pain. They kept falling over and was hard to pull out one type of herb.
