Fit my older Craftsman shop vac perfectly

This filter fit my old shop vac perfectly and now it is back to its original suction power. I admit I left the old filter in too long and it clogged and the vac was struggling. I thought I might have to buy a new vac since this one is so old I never thought I would find a compatible filter. This one was perfect.

Perfect fit for my Craftsman 6 gallon shop vac

When I first bought the vac it came with the white paper filter and for wet it came with a foam sleeve that was ment to be slid over the paper filter. That method is old and outdated. This filter is way way WAY better. And here on Amazon I was able to by a pair one wet (black foam mesh) and one dry (white paper) I have included pictures. Trust me this wet filter is a game Changer. Lastly the new filter fits snug but does not come with the screw on nut so don't loose yours but if you don't have one the fit is so that it should be ok

Fits my older Craftsman shop vac perfectly

Haven't had a chance or need to use this filter, but I test fit it and it fits better than the Craftsman dust filter that's been on my vac for years now. Very good quality - I was surprised at how well constructed all the filters were. Since Sears went away, I haven't had good luck finding filters. Finally poked around on Amazon and found this wet filter in addition to some blue dust filters that also fit well. Once Spring hits here in the northeast, I'm sure I'll have experience to update this review.

At last. The original filters are here.

For years we’ve been unable to find a filter for our old Craftsman 45 Litre Series 90 Home and Shop Vacuum (M/N 113.298900C). We still have the filter bottom plate and wing nut. This filter doesn’t look exactly the same as the old ones because it comes with that bottom plate attached as part of the filter. That is the only difference. Fits and works perfectly. We bought both the blue and white filters to replace blue 97216 and white 97305. Both shipped in a Craftsman box. The white one even has the original red stripe. I will buy again, if needed. Ours have been trashed, but were still in use for over 20 years because, ragged and worn as they were, they still worked better than others we’ve bought that didn’t fit quite right.

Wish I'd had this years ago!

Pretty straightforward concept, but nothing like this was offered when I bought my vacuum in the late 80s. I used to use the regular paper filters, then let them dry, but that inevitably led to mouldy paper. This filter is designed to get wet. I only use the vacuum as a wet vac for closing my pool, or occasional water emergencies, but it's nice to have a purpose-built filter. Thought the price was a little steep, but I couldn't find any alternatives that fit my Craftsman vacuum.

Excelente para particular muy finas o gruesas

Yo lo utilizo como filtro general de mi aspiradora. Con el puedo aspirar todo tipo de polvos, particulas finas o gruesas. Así no me preocupo de que no sean detenidas por la aspiradora. Prefiero este filtro a los que traen por default. Recomendado!

fits on RIDGID

this is slightly shorter than a RIDGID, but it fits on my 16 gallon cheapie, the hold down design is identical but the length is shorter, but it's just right so that it still fits fine without worrying about the filter getting loose and dirt going past the motor. definitely a good upgrade over the stock filter which lets dust through easily.

FITS PERFECTLY

I own a 45 liters (10 gal) wet/dry shop vacuum by Craftsman. I used to buy the filter at Sears Canada but this retailer no longer exists. I ordered the fine dust filter on Amazon.ca. It fits perfectly on the appliance. Works well too, but I haven't had to deal with fine dust as yet. It should do the job. I recommend this product for its intended use.
