Rustic galvanized metal 3-tier stand is stylish, sturdy, and offers lots of options for functionality or decoration

I was really impressed with this 3-tier tray stand when it arrived. Galvanized metal versions that are similar in appearance to this one seem to be trendy now, but I was disappointed in the sturdiness and quality of those other competitor brand stands that I've examined (some even included plastic parts!). Most of them seemed flimsy and tilted or sagged easily to one side or the other. This one, though, seems of much better quality. Each of the three trays are made of thicker-walled galvanized metal so that they maintain their shape without sagging. And the support post that screws into each round tray is fairly heavy and sturdy so that the whole stand sits solidly without tilting or wobbling like some others did. I like the slightly rustic look to it. There's a decorative 'knobby' edging in a brass tone that nicely accents the silvery grey color of the galvanized metal. The stand is about 21 inches tall (to the top of the decorative loop). The biggest round tray is about 13.5 inches in diameter. Per the labeling, the tray is not considered 'food safe.' I've used it as a decorative piece to display small pumpkins, gourds, cedar clippings, and bittersweet berries for autumn and Thanksgiving (see pic that I've added). I'll probably replace the pumpkins with holly, mercury-glass balls, pinecones, red berries, etc. after Thanksgiving for the winter holidays. I've also thought it would be great in the guest bath to hold pretty lotions, soaps, and washcloths. Or maybe next to the coffee/espresso maker to hold cups and supplies? The stand arrives in seven separate pieces--the base, the three round trays, and the post sections with threaded ends. It assembles very quickly by just screwing the parts together. There are simple instructions included, but they're not really necessary since the assembly is pretty obvious. The only real complaint that I have with it is that the the threaded ends of the post are quite short and don't screw very far into the receiving threaded hole. It holds and I can even lift mine by the looped top without it coming apart, but it would add a bit more of a feeling of sturdiness to it if those threaded ends did more than just barely making it into the receiving threaded hole.

Disappointed, trays didn't fit together properly

Second tier screw was too small for the screw-hole so I had to use a washer and super glue to attach the second tier to the bottom tier and then add on the top. I decided to rig it myself rather than try to repack it and return it so just be prepared to possibly have to do the same if you order this product...

Cute but not well constructed

Bought this as a Christmas gift, opened it and the rods were hard to put together also was not straight once I got it together. The top handle looked horrible, the welding was awful.

The top tier was very rusty and I had to scrub with special rust cream to get it clean. Took a long time. Other than that it looks nice on my kitchen island filled with decorative items.
