Average knee brace which holds a hot or cold pack

The Curad brace is an average fabric brace with velcro straps that you cross to tighten around the knee. The brace has a pocket and an included hot/cold pack that you can add to the brace for some hot or cold therapy on the knee. As for the "converts your body’s heat into infrared energy", well I guess if you think of a blanket as a device which "converts your body’s heat into infrared energy" then I guess the brace also does that because there is some retention of heat your body is putting out.

"Universal" fit is Big, but this support is wonderful

Anyone older than me will roll their eyes about this, but I swear, on the morning of my 30th birthday, my lower back started hurting and hasn't stopped. This back support has provided me with MUCH relief. When wrapped properly, there are several (removeable!) plastic sticks that create a solid support parallel to the spine while elastic adds compression across the back. A (removeable!) gel pack in the back can be put in the freezer if you want cold therapy or thrown in the microwave for heat. If you do neither, the gel bag absorbs and retains some of your body heat, which can still aid with healing. I definitely notice a difference!

Too wide

I have short torso, and this literately extend an inch up my ribcage and an inch down my hip. It's just too bulky and not convenient Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the brace. The waist is one size but adjustable with thick but stretchy fabric. It's generally comfortable to wear other than being too wide. The gel pack is amazing for hot therapy. It stays consistently warm for 10+ minutes while all other packs I've gotten all started to cool down after 5-10 minutes. I'd buy the gel pack by itself.

Wonderful back brace

This brace has a small pack and a pocket insert that tucks the pak away from your skin and there’s no noticeable bulge. The pack is filled with gel that can be put in freezer for a cold pak or into microwave for a hot pak….having lumbar spine complex surgery and pain issues, this brace does the work of two….it is small enough to wear under clothing….like the brace very much….price is right. Highly recommend to lumbar spine injury sufferers

This brace fits well and does a good job. The gel pack stays cold a long time and I have not experienced any leaks from it. Very happy with my purchase.

Instant relief

Very impressed with this back support. I struggle with degenerative disc disease that’s been worsening and this brace has helped me a ton! Easy to use, and provides instant relief from lower back pain. Affordable and effective, would definitely recommend

Conquer Joint Pain with The Universal

I was so excited to try out the CURAD Performance Series IRONMAN Infrared Knee Support! The adjustable compression was perfect for my active lifestyle and the infrared technology is great to reduce swelling. I also love that it can be used hot or cold depending on what I need that day. It is comfortable and lightweight, so I barely believe I'm wearing it. So glad I have this support to help me stay active!

Oh What A Relief It Is!

I have various back supports due to my spinal stenosis, including a custom-made, leather-covered metal back support. When I saw this infrared, I was first thinking it was some type of electronic infrared, but that isn't what it is. You can microwave the gel insert and place it in the pocket of the back support and a nice even heat. Or, freeze it for a cooling benefit. I typically have better luck with heat, but once the warm weather returns, I'll try the cooling benefit, more. You do need to snug it up for good support, but not uncomfortably. The main wrap around strap has velcro and the two additional side straps give you extra compression and support which will velcro to the main strap. For me, it is equal to the other back supports but, with the extra benefit of the heating/cooling gel.
