It works great, but...

It really should have came with some detailed instructions. There were a lot of videos online about installing this on a 2012 Hyundai Tucson. Let me be the first to say that they were not very helpful in that they have you routing the wires for the left side out through a hole in the bottom and then up the inside panel to the light. There is no way that these wires are long enough to do that. The easiest way to make that connection is to modify the existing grommet that goes in to the back of the light (for both sides) and run these wires through the same hole, keeping everything inside the vehicle, except for the main power wire and the connector wires to the trailer.

NO Wya a Direct Fit

Was to be a direct fit wiring system for my 2014 Hyundai Tucson. NO WAY. The connection at rear lights had to be "junped" to make it fit! I can not recommended this as a fit for my vehicle as indicated by Amazon.

P 'n P all the way

Perfect plug-in connections but poor instructions for a 2012 Tucson. I watched a video on the CURT web site for directions for a 2013 Santa Fe. THAT was useful. There's very little excess wiring to stuff somewhere out of sight. Have extra cable ties on hand. Don't forget the ground (white) wire screwed to the body -- inside the taillight cavity works fine.

Great price for a good product that gets the job done.

This wiring harness took me about 1.25hr to install mostly by myself in my 2013 Hyundai Tucson. It works as it should, and all wires were long enough to get where they needed to be. My only very minor complaint was that I ran out of zip ties but I may have overdone it with them.

GOOD TRAILER WIRING KIT

GREAT FOR DO IT YOURSELF INSTALLLATION. THE DOUBLED SIDED TAPE THEY GIVE YOU IS NOT THE BEST. I HAVE A NEW CAR AND THE TAPE DID NOT STICK WHERE IT WAS SURPOSE TO GO. THAT IS THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD INSTALLING THIS WIRING KIT.

Not very reliable, should at least last a year!

This will be the second time this unit has failed in less than a year. Starts off by blowing the fuse and then it starts acting erratically with certain lights not working or coming on then going off and then the turn signals lights get shorted to one side and then open on the other. Seems like they have a technical issue with the control unit!

Wiring was not long enough.

Wire were not long enough, I had to add wire to reach left tail light. No grommet provided, had to cut hole in original grommet for wiring.

Little bit time consuming. Pry 2 hours + or ...

Little bit time consuming. Pry 2 hours + or - . Longest time was running the wire to the battery from the rear or Vehicle. Ran mine under body by frame figured lot easier than in the cabin. Worked first time no problems.Do want to have extra zip ties as as every one else says that don't send enough.
