great corset

The first thing I noticed was the high-quality material that the corset was made of. The fit of the corset was perfect. The brand had a size chart that helped me select the right size and the corset was adjustable to fit my body perfectly. I appreciated that the corset was designed to be supportive without feeling too restrictive or uncomfortable. When I wore the corset, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was. It didn't dig into my skin or pinch me anywhere, which is something I was worried about.

Wonderful Quality

Let me start by saying that the quality of this product is superb. I bought the distressed faux leather and it really does look like leather. In addition, it is genuinely steel boned (you can tell by the weight of the corset). I did use the Daisy Corsets size chart - but read the fine print. The measurements given are for the laced corset, not your waistline (this is an abnormal practice in my corset-buying experience). I am 5' tall and have a 35.5" waist. I ordered the 2x based upon the size chart, which says it laces at 34-37". Granted, I ordered one size up by mistake, but it was fully closed around my 35.5 inch waist and sagging - meaning no cinch. It was definitely NOT closing at 34". If I were to reorder, I'd probably go 2 sizes down. The other thing was my height. This was clearly made for a taller girl. I don't generally have a problem with corsets being too long, but I could not sit in this at all due to the length of the busk. I was also not a fan of how the strap fit. It was clear that I should have been about 5 inches wider around my back/bust area to make it work. Now, I'm not a small girl. At a 38D, I didn't think I'd ever have this problem. The only way this thing was getting strapped was to cross it in front of my chest first. I love the look and quality of the corset. but I won't be exchanging because the length and cut at the bust line simply will not work.

Incredible Find!

I got this to wear to the Ren Faire in August and I can say with confidence that I absolutely lucked out in finding this! It's very comfortable, and has been wonderful for my posture while I've been doing the molding process! My only wish as a fat person is that the panel behind the lacing was wider, but that's easily fixed with some black fabric. Otherwise, it's very comfortable and has noticeably changed my figure in the time I've been wearing it a little each day. If I ever need another corset, I know where I'm looking.

You get what you pay for

I purchased this corset to be used at pirate-themed nights and days at the Renaissance Faire. It feels very cheap, but the measurements match up. Unfortunately, I found the strap around the neck to be WAYYY too long, so I’m going to have to modify that myself.

Size chart not accurate. Order 1 or 2 sizes smaller.

Size chart is not accurate. I measured for a 5X and when it arrived it was about 3 sizes too big, even with the cinching. The product came with a size chart tag attached. I was able to get accurate measurements based on the actual product and I exchanged it for a 2X which fits perfectly. This is a very nicely made corset, heavy and a good product for the cost. I would give it 5 stars except for the measurement issue. Exchange was very simple, no hassle at all and the new one showed up 2 days after purchase. I've included some basic measurements from the actual product which has S - 6X. Here are a few: M = bust 34-37 waist 25-28 hips 36-39 XL = bust 39-42 waist 31-34 hips 41-44 3X = bust 45-48 waist 37-40 hips 47-50 5X = 53-54 waist 43-46 hips 53-56 Order the bottom number or even one size down for cinching. If you're in between, order one size down. Hope this helps!

Be careful when sizing.

I ordered according to their size chart and even the top level of the waist limit was 3" smaller than my actual measurement. I received the item, tried it on, without undoing the laces, and it's too big. The upper part, under the bust line was far too large as well. Not every plus size woman has a huge chest. Good quality material and structure though. I wish it could have worked for me. I love the look. I returned it today and will not be reordering.

I love the corset

I love the corset, but I should have ordered up a size or two for room to cinch. I wear a 4x in women's tops comfortably loose and I ordered a 4x corset. it sizes more like something around a 2x, it only fits after I loosen the laces all the way out. not very flattering without cinching on the rear view. I should have exchanged sizes, but i'm a lazy returner. It looks super steampunk hawt though.
