Almost worked too well.

The extremely fine screen did an excellent job of keeping particles and hair from going into the drain but they did have to be cleaned and emptied frequently., generally with a toothbrush.

Perfect

This catches hair and things that shouldn’t go down drain, kids bath toys, flowers from bath teas and bath bombs. We put these in all of our drains and bought the oxo shower and sink covers. You will have to tap them on the trash can after bath or shower. We were surprised how much hair was caught. The shower drain covers and these have saved us on plumbing bills from having it snaked. Will buy more

Bathroom Sink Strainer

This fits perfectly in my bathroom sink to keep hair and small items out of the pipe. I have been using these for years with good success. They usually last about a few years before they get rusty and require replacement. This one arrived smashed flat and it must have been packed like that because the box was fine. I was able to mold it to the correct shape by pushing at it with my thumb. These come in different sizes so be sure of the size prior to ordering.

It keeps the hair out the drain so I do t have the 6 foot hair monster to clean out to unclog the shower

I’ve purchased many a hair catcher. Always looking for the next “new” one that work’s miracles on the never ending hair/clog issue. This just works. Nothing special. Nothing exciting. But it works great.

It works

So when buying this I thought it was ugly and lame. But I've purchased much prettier ones in hopes they would work. None work except this one does. And you really don't notice it either. Catches everything, water drains good, and very easy to clean. This is now my go to. Just a little note, when I received it, it was smashed but easy to shape the way it should.

Great for older sink drains

My daughter and son-in-law have an older home and their bathroom sink drains so slow, I bought these and they love them! Keeps stuff out of the drain but allows liquid to pass, and no more worry about loose rings or earrings falling into the drain!

Perfect (as advertised).

Fits perfectly flat in my bathtub drain. Had to send back a similar product because it stood up out of my bathtub drain. I bought this because I have thick, long hair which clogs up my drain.

Does the job without fuss

This tub strainer works exactly as advertised. It sits flush with the drain and catches everything (even, it seems, skin flakes). It is difficult to clean: the best way to clean it is to let it dry thoroughly, and then hair etc. will easily come off the mesh (in one piece, if you're careful).

Fits well in bathtub drain

Had a smaller one that would keep sliding and not staying in place but replaced it with this one which fits perfectly. It catches thick liquids too so if you use conditioner you may have to clean it after every shower but that's still better than dealing with a clogged bathtub.

Wow, it really doesn't rust.

After our bathroom sink rusted through a couple of dollar store strainers of the same size, we read the positive reviews on this and decided to give it a try. The price seemed a bit steep (even as an add on item) - at least for we who are used to dollar store prices for this kind of thing - but after having used it for months now, I can say it was entirely worth the $5 we paid (approx). It's super effective at straining hair and other cloggy stuff from the sink, is easy to clean out, and is actually made of stainless steel meaning it doesn't rust at all!! Comparatively the dollar store versions lasted maybe a month or so before they rusted through and had to be thrown out. Entirely worth the small investment for the sake of its durability and quality materials.
