A complete shower/tub replacement knob system
The last time I replaced the knobs it was a nightmare, because I could know locate the knobs for the existing stem valves. This complete set saved a lot of time researching, receiving and returning knobs that did not fit the vavle stems. With the installation/removal tool included the entire repair was a simple fix.

"Buy a House, it'll be fun," they said.
We purchased an older house (built circa early 1970s) last year and as first time home buyer it's been not even a fraction of the "fun" everyone said it would be. Most of the house hasn't been updated since it was built, so we find ourselves having to fix things as they break, crumble and fall apart. Our bathtub in our hall bathroom begin to have a slow, annoying drip-drop leak. We've "tightened" it countless times that allowed for a quick fix band-aid of the issue and the drip slowly morphed into a more aggressive stream. With the recent ridiculous water rate hike our city implemented and environmental guilt, we decided enough was enough. SINCE the house *is* so old, we couldn't find exactly what we needed that would fit in the store (maybe we just know nothing). So, the husbandhalf demanded I order this via prime to receive in a timely and quick manner and hopefully save our water bill, I mean planet, before it was too late. Worked like a charm. Fit on our old stuff, the bath doesn't leak anymore. The handle isn't exactly my cup of tea, but aunt told me I needed to suck it up because it wasn't leaking anymore. Only downside is only the hot side was broken so the husbandhalf only fixed that half. So now I have two handles, both of which are not my ideal of nice bathroom faucets and they don't even match. It would be nice if you could add on or upgrade to a model that would ensure the husbandhalf fixed the cold side, too. I'd hate the look a little less if they at least matched.

Exactly what I needed for a 35+ year old Kohler bathtub faucet!
As I said in the title, my faucet is over 35 years old and Kohler doesn't make replacement parts for these anymore! Outside of paying a plumber to retrofit the 3 knob to a single system, options are few and limited. I was able to find a single cold stem but it cost the same as the entire rebuild kit from Danco. Having used Danco replacement stems for this faucet in the past, I knew that they were good quality. My unknown quantity came in "Is this the correct kit as the part numbers are different for the stems." If I remember correctly, the stems noted here are 26c, whereas my prior Danco stems were 9-C. The parts were exactly the same so this must be a new one, doesn't matter though, they worked! The stems fit, the knobs fit, everything worked exactly as they should! All of the parts are as nice as anything Kohler is putting out today; I would recommend this kit to anyone who is in the same situation that I was.

Works great - worth the money
I bought this kit because it was cheaper than buying just the shower diverter. Got an even better deal because it was from the Amazon warehouse used hardware. Turns out I needed to replace all 3 valves. It was very easy to install. The hardest part was removing a stripped out seat. Just a side bar, it was quite frustrating going to the big box hardware store and having the workers patronize me, asking me the same question over and over to make sure I know what I'm talking about when I asked for the tool used to remove a stripped seat simple because I don't "look like" a plumber. Needless to say I didn't get anywhere with those guys. Looked it up on Youtube, and found what I needed at a smaller, friendlier hardware store and got the stripped seat out. All in all, I spent about $47 for this kit plus the tool to remove the seat. Did everything myself. Shower's working with a nice flow, no leaks from the faucet handles or spout, no leak from the shower. Just really great. Saved me about a $250 plumber cost . Gave it a 4 star because for what ever reason the screw that held the washer in place kept coming lose so I had to replace it with another screw a little longer with a stronger tread grip.

My Shower repair set review
Set was everything I needed except diverted stem. This piece was longer than the original. Seems to be the problem with most people. However, for how much these parts cost individually I wasn’t upset. Now, the diverted on Amazon is just about the same price as the set but you won’t find it many places less expensive and my shower is working ok for now. Will order diverted at some point. You will need additional tools, a 6 step faucet seat wrench, to remove seat, handle removal tool if you have old and tough to remove handles and maybe a Plumber’s socket set (not required because this set comes with one that does fit). I just found the ones at Lowe’s are longer and easier to use. Hope this helps someone! Happy repairs!

Check valves and washers!
Check your diverter valve first! Two good kits are for sale here, but had to return the first as the diverter valve was wrong one. Both similar quality, and this one comes with tool (other doesn't). Make sure you check for all the o-rings and washers before you take anything apart. I used the end of a 1/4 extension to get the valve seats out and replace, just don't get tough on the brass. usually kit price is a deal versus getting all the pieces individually, even if you don't really need them all.

Don’t Buy This!
I bought this last year anticipating needing to rebuild my bath faucet. I opened and installed the parts last week and they were cheap, rattled when turned and the shower diverter was too long. I sold and taught plumbing installation in my high school years so I know how to repair and rebuild plumbing well. I had to go back to the shop I used to work at to replace both stems and the diverter. I had to repair my faucet 3 times, each time having to replace the shoddy parts until I ended up replacing all 3 of the most important parts. The only good parts of this set was the escutcheons and the handles though I have some reservations about them lasting very long based on the other parts. Don’t waste your money. If anyone from this company reads this, I want my money back!
