Worth the money

Pond masters makes the best pumps for your money, plus a 5 year warranty, never had a pump that didn't last at least 10 years.

Great product

Used this same model for about 7 years including winter months to keep my 125 gallons pond clean. Loved it, so when it died I ordered another one. I now have a 650 gallon pond and use a canister filter and pump system for the summer (to operate my waterfall) and this product for the winter! Works great! Love it!

Great pump for small ponds

This pond pump is phenomenal. Usually I’ve got to continuously add various chemicals to keep my pond water clean and clear. Not anymore with this pump! You can adjust how you want the fountain to spray out. We clean it about once every two weeks. It’s very simple to take the filters out, rinse them clean and replace. If the filters do get pretty dirty then we’ve noticed the filter portion will begin to float to the top and knock the fountain over to it’s side. Again, a very easy fix, just give the filters a good rinsing and it’s good to go! Highly recommend this product.

Good when it works, needs ballast

The pump and filter set work great, and have done wonders cleaning up my pond. However, there are several issues the detract from the product. First, the fountain attachment does not include any kind of ball joint or adjustment, which every other similar device I have owned has included. This means you need to find a level spot at the correct depth to place the pump, which is not an easy task - I ended up just hooking the pump up to my waterfall and leaving out the fountain part. Not a surprise, but it was a little disappointing. Second, the filter sometime floats. There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason, as it will run fine for days with the filter staying on the bottom, then one day I will go out to find it floating at the surface (with the pump still running). Regardless of the reason for the spontaneous flotation, some built-in ballast would remedy the situation. Placing a rock on top of the filter has helped, but even that occasionally fails to keep the filter on the bottom. Other than those two issues, though, I have been happy with the performance of the pump and filter.

I've been happy with this purchase

I've been happy with this purchase. Filters aren't too expensive and last a long time (I just clean them with my hose). I've had this a few years and had to replace the pump which I now use for a waterfall. The only thing is - and why I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars - is that you absolutely have to weigh it down. I have rocks around my water garden and just throw one on top the box as I set it back down in the pond. I don't mind it - the system works. These filters really have cleaned my pond - I can see to the bottom now - and the aeration is fantastic for the fish.

Not bad

I've gone through several of these type of filter/pump systems for my backyard pond. This one worked well for about a year, then had to replace the pump. I expected that. I'm using a different brand/type now, and getting the same sort of results. I just wished they weighted these things so that they would sit at the bottome of the pond without having to use rocks/bricks to keep them there.

Wonderful

I'm using this for my stock tank/goldfish pond. The only thing I would change....but I know it's not possible....is to make it not black. I appreciate that most people would have it in a koi pond so the black would work great. But mine sits on the bottom of the tank and is very noticeable. I do have floating plants over it so it's not soooo bad.

Es un buen producto, aunque no es la panacea para las fuentes. Tengo tortugas en mi fuente y aunque son muy mugrosas, ha sido el mejor filtro que he probado. Le daría un 8 de 10.

The hose that connects the 2 pieces is not long enough, the fountain needs another section and the cotainer itself could have been a little bigger.
