The one time my son used it, there were a lot of kernels left unpopped. That was disappointing.

I think there are better microwave poppers out there
Although it works great, it’s made of glass. I’m just waiting for the day it shatters because I bump it on some thing. I noticed that there are better microwave popcorn vessels available on Amazon

So easy to use
We love this popcorn maker. I got one for Christmas and love it so much that I bought one for my daughter who uses mine every time she’s at my house. It’s so easy to use and makes great popcorn in minutes plus it washes up great in the dishwasher. Another great dash product!

Does a great job
Friends had one and it really pops corn in the microwave better than anything. Warning, however, don't accidently put it in too long and burn the popcorn as then you may find what I did -- the glass breaks. So the one I bought here on Amazon was to replace my friends'. The glass didn't shatter, it cracked on the bottom, so didn't deal with glass all over, just with replacing the item. The glass is very thin and that's probably in part why this works so much better than any other microwave popcorn maker I've experienced before. Afterwards if you like a little flavor whether it's salt or herbs, spray the corn with oil of choice (I use avocado or olive spray oil) and then add your seasoning. The item is a little hard to clean due to the fragile feeling of the glass, but my friends don't clean theirs every time and I agree with their approach, just wipe it clean and re-use. For periodic cleaning then a long handled flexible cleaning brush is ideal in my opinion. I love popcorn and this is the healthiest and best results I've found that I like when not going the old fashioned route with my beloved cast iron pot on the stove with oil :)

Avoid burned popcorn
The instruction booklet reads that the amount of popcorn to use is indicated by the fill line on the silicone lid but using that much leaves no room for the popcorn to aerate during cooking creating a dense burned center. Also there is condensation created that makes the cooked popcorn soggy. I would advise using 1/3 less popcorn to avoid burning and just cook more in a different batch. This will also create less condensation.

Great popper but thin glass!
Love this popper! One complaint, the glass is extremely thin and breaks very easily. Broke mine after the first use just tapping it on the side of the sink to wash. Bought a replacement I like it so much though!
