Creamy smoothies every time

This is an attractive retro looking blender with very simple to use functions for making delicious smoothies. I've had it since 6/22 and have really enjoyed it. Only two complaints: one is the motor smells like it's being overburdened every time in use. But otherwise it works well. The other is the clear plastic center piece on the lid has cracked just from daily use and is now almost unusable. I just called the manufacturer's help line hoping to order the piece that is broken. I sure hope they will let me do that. Otherwise I will have to look for another brand that doesn't have this inherent weakness.

Its a really nice little blender but heavy

I really wanted to Love it, I did love that its a glass. We bought for our RV, love the color, love the light and the size But... the glass was just too heavy for me.

Love it, but just one thing!

I love this blender — its cute and much quieter than the Oster I had! Only “ugh” is that it takes a bit longer for ice and frozen fruit pieces to blend completely (not a huge thing unless I’m in a hurry) and then the small “cap” to the lid — not completely dishwasher safe, I guess. The edge “melted”. See pic.

Unable to disassemble

I'm usually skeptical of negative comments about products, and with the review of this blender being otherwise positive I decided to ignore the "hard to take apart" warnings and purchased this item. The warnings were right. The base might as well have been put onto the carafe with a torque wrench, because I was not able to take it off for initial cleaning without resorting to tools. The diameter of the base is just big enough that I wasn't able to get a grip on it by hand; my finger span is about 8.5 inches, so if you have a bigger hand you might be in luck. Rather than risk damaging the base, I returned it and purchased a different product. It might be a perfectly good blender, but I didn't get to use it to find out.

i did not have high hopes, and i was so surprised im writing a review

when i saw a blender priced not in the hundreds of dollars, i expected a blender that would have a motor that burns out fast, and probably wouldnt have the best blades. i was wrong, its fantastic, I cannot stop talking about this blender to my friends. I use this blender several times a week for several items ranging from smoothies to oatmilk. do yourself a favor and pick one up.

Okay Blender...

I really ordered this blender because it matches my kitchen and it had decent reviews. Looked to be powerful enough. It was difficult to figure out how to work it at first. You really can't be gentle with it. Goes a bit crazy sometimes if there's a lot of liquid and makes a weird burning smell. Definite upgrade from my old blender, just feel like it should be better for the price.

Functions absolutely fine as a basic blender

I've had this blender for a few weeks. It functions absolutely fine as a basic blender, looks nice and came at a good price. It is LESS noisy than other blenders I've had, even when blending thin liquids. There are two speeds and a pulse function, so it gets the job done making smoothies, and I have also used it to homogenize cooked butternut squash, carrots, zucchini and tomatoes for soups. The glass jar cleans easily and does not retain a smell. The compact overall size fits below kitchen cabinets from a prior era. I've no complaints whatsoever.

Easy to use, just right for 1

Just perfect for my needs. I don't blend a whole lot because I just cook for myself but I do like making berry shakes and this little blender is adequate for my needs.

Do not buy the item

Please do not buy this item I had this blander from August and Dec.4th it stop working. I use this only for my green drinks. I would like to return this to the seller, but can't reach him. I am very disappointed.
