A Happy Wife Makes a Happy Life

You can see how thrilled my hubby was to wear this costume. Ha Ha! I think we looked smashingly darling for the Halloween party we were invited to. Some dressed up, some didn't. I mean, come on! Get into the spirit people. When you look fun, people view you as fun... and then everyone is having a good time. I really love to make cookies and my costume is perfect for me. Oscar the grouch is perfect for my hubby too... even though he's still 'hot as chocolate' after 27 years of marriage (men tend to get better with age and women just droop)... he knows I don't think he's really Oscar the Grouch... at least not all the time!

Good costume for the money

Good costume and my coworkers really liked it. It does shed a bit though. Also, to make it even better make sure you purchase a dark face cover - it will look even more realistic.

Drawbacks, but a sweet costume.

Only available in XL. I'm 6'3, 200 and still found it quite large. It sheds a bit. As other have said, the head is difficult to keep in place. The costume is quick warm, leading to quite a bit of sweating. Overall, though it helped me crush Halloween, so it can't be all bad.

Head very large

This thing was pretty sweet, but it did fit really big, The head was really the worst part. Lots of room in the head making it either fall down and tickling your face, or falling back and off your head. Don't let that knock you though. Its still a sweet party costume.

Don't expect quality

Thankfully I had enough time to return this and get a different costume for Halloween. When the costume arrived, it looked as if it had already been opened once before. I still tried it on anyways, and came to find that the trash can piece was sewn on sideways, showing the "trash" label on my right side, rather than directly in front of me. For how much this cost, it was unacceptable and I immediately returned it. I instead went with a Cookie Monster costume from another company and still have our family costume idea intact.

Oscar!

It fits well but the velcro for the headpiece does not stick very well, had to pin it. Also the hoop on the bottom doesn't go to a perfect circle after the way it is packed up so it kind of flips up on the bottom sometimes. Wish it had hand covers too but green gloves help. Students at my school loved it.
