Good product

These are great for the color variety and opaqueness of the consistency of coverage. The paint is thick enough for you to use as is or to thin out to create washes or layers of color. Also great for dry brushing. My students and I use these and other brands. We Tend to prefer these a lot. As an artist I would turn my nose down to these crafty paints. But my students and I have different brands -(trying to keep this economical , most high school students can’t afford pricy paint).. we love this brand the most so far.

Bottles were not sealed

????Checking out a new batch of Ceramcoat colors...???? I've always mixed and blended my own colors, but since I'm studying *print* design it's best to practice in homogeneous tones. A screen printing machine may not appreciate my subtle shifts in chroma! ???? These are truly pastels, which implies that white has been added to create a "tint" of a hue. (A "shade" is a hue to which black has been added in order to deepen its value. ) At first I was surprised that only two of these colors were made in the USA, but then I remembered that it was the white (titanium based) which was the only paint in my last Ceramcoat order that was made in China. Most of these paints are full of titanium. Except for the Tawny Light and the Wedgewood Green, they all seem to have a nice consistency. Those two are a bit granular, and I'm surprised that it's not worse---NONE of the caps were properly sealed. ????

Fun Colors, Fine Quality

I am familiar with this product, so was pretty confident ordering this set. I ordered the "pastel" pallette, and the colors are pretty nice. The quality is what I would expect, I am painting designs over a grey wall and it's taking two coats for coverage, which is pretty acceptable to me.

Great Product

I bought these to paint fake rocks for our garden water feature. The paint applied easily and what is amazing is that is is withstanding our rain and weather (Oregon). We did use a sealer after painting. The rocks look amazingly real next to actual real rocks.

Nice Consistency

I just began painting mandalas and learned early on that the acrylic paint out of the bottle is generally too thick so you have to buy ($$) and add a medium. But not with this brand of paint. Ceramcoat brand is the perfect consistency for dotting. I recommend this brand in all the dotting groups.

Nice little set of all purpose acrylic paints!

These paints are simply amazing! Bright and beautiful colors that easily mix to create any hue. They hold up well especially on porous surfaces, yet wash clean easily off of hands. With a drop of dish detergent and a tiny scrub brush, I even removed dried paint from an upholstered chair! I have used them to paint on wooden surfaces, canvasses, walls, and terra cotta! The bottles are two ounces each. I suggest you buy an extra black and white also, as I find that I use them on almost every project.

My favourite craft paint

It's very difficult to find this brand in Canada since Michael's stopped selling it. By far its my favourite paint. I really only needed the Black and Burnt Umber in this collection but its good to have the rest of the colours as well. The company does not ship to Canada...….so Amazon is my only hope to get it at a reasonable price.
