3M is the de-facto standard for respirators
There are many competing manufacturers of masks (e.g. Sperian/North/Honeywell is another big one), but 3M is the de facto standard in the United States. If you go 3M, you wil be able to get replacement cartridges and filters at the local building supply store, which is not true of other brands. The advantage/drawback of the 3M system is that they make a bewildering array of masks and cartridges and adapter combos. There are three major series of reusable masks - 7500 (this one), 6500 (also silicone; not sure what exactly is different between those two), and 6000 (rubber, less expensive, maybe less comfortable for long wear), each of which comes in Small/Medium/Large. Then there are gas cartridges - the 6000 series is just the gas cartridge, and and the 69000 series also includes an attached P100 filter. If you go with the 6000 series cartridges, you can then optionally attach a 501 clip and P95 or N95 prefilters, which you can change on a different schedule than the gas cartridge. If you want JUST the particulate filter and not gas, you can either get the 2000 series P100 particulate filters which attach directly to the mask, or the 603 adapter, which then lets you use the 501 clip and the (cheaper) P95 or N95 prefilters. To summarize, here are the most common sets of things you can attach: 69xxx (gas plus P100) 6xxx (gas only) 6xxx + 501 clip + 5xxx prefilters (gas plus P95 or N95) 603 adapter (AKA dummy cartridge) + 501 clip + 5xxx prefilters 2xxx (P100 only) the 3rd row is what this mask comes with: 6001 organic vapor cartridge, plus 501 clips, plus 5P71 P95 prefilters. Confused yet? If not, note that technically you can even get an adapter (part 502) to attach the 2000 prefilter to the 6000 gas cartridges, but this makes no sense to me; if you want that combo, just buy the 69000 cartridges instead for less money. And there's also 7000 series particulate cartridges, which have a hard plastic case, so that when you get hosed off they don't get wet. and there's a 5000 series of masks, in which the cartridges are permanently attached and NOT replaceable. Whew! Anyway, the point is this mask is part of a very flexible system. However, I didn't like this specific mask, because it came with a yucky rubber smell which is taking its time to go away.

Plenty of different filters available but consider full face if you work with Heisenberg or mold.
Using this mask with P95 particulate filters and it works great! It's a night and day difference with the OV cartridges, especially in confined spaces such as my RV (painting my private domicile). I don't use the P100 as I want to keep the loading down and it's not necessary in my situation. The mask itself is quite comfortable; the only complaint is that the bridge of the nose comes close to my goggles. This will probably interfere with many fully sealing goggles. I love the variety of filters available for this mask. I will be buying separate N95 particulate filters so that I can use this really comfortable respirator when I work in minor dust/mold situations. P100/N100 are not required for less than 10 square feet as per the CDC. I see some reviewers speaking about the P100 filters, but there's no real use for P100/N100 on this respirator. It's better just to get full face protection when your goggles don't fit snugly (comfortably). Do you really want to work in an environment where you can't fully protect your moist eyes from mold spores and bits of poo? Don't take Half-measures. If I find myself in a tough mold situation I'll say no thanks and burn the place down instead. If you need a good everyman respirator - this is the one. If you have major mold issues to remediate, I suggest you go 'full measure' and consider your options (full-face mask, flame thrower, brother-in-law) before buying this respirator. The final thing is the mask does not seem to seal well around facial hair; a goatee would be OK at the largest. Note that the back strap is hard plastic. If you've undergone chemotherapy or have no hair, the upper strap may irritate your skin so wear a hat.

Seems to work well - pleased with purchase
I bought this mask since it appears to be a slight upgrade to the paint project mask found at Home Depot. I used it for auto painting using spray cans. Some of these can be quite nasty and have a strong smell of solvents. With the mask on, there was no detectable smell whatsoever. I found the mask a little tricky to assemble, but I finally got the hang of it after reading the instructions. During that process, A round rubber airflow backflow valve came out, but this was easily put back into place over the filter entrance inside of the mask. It just pushes in. It comes with 2 6001 filters installed and an additional sealed package with 4 particulate filters. I don't know yet how long they will last, or how to tell if they need changing. The mask is comfortable but a little bulky at the bridge of the nose which interfered just a bit with the full coverage goggles I was using, but no real problem. Mask is comfortable around the head and easy to wear and remove once you understand how the hook works.

Nice Respirator
I like his respirator a lot. It's light weight and fits well. It's easily as comfortable or more comfortable than other respirators I've tried. I especially like the way you attach the filters - it's very easy. Plus the 3M P100 pink particulate filters are so light compared to other brands. Only downside is the condensation builds up and occasionally exits the mask via the exhaust, but this is not a big deal.

Works well
Best respirator that I've tried, so far. I use an airbrush to paint plastic and wood scale models with a variety of materials, including some pretty stinky lacquers. I have a beard, so getting a good seal is a problem. The flexible silicone body of this respirator conforms well, and while there is some leakage, it's much less that I've experienced with other respirators.

Didn't work when using a paint sprayer.
I bought this to protect myself while using a paint spray gun. I painted my walls and ceiling and this failed to fully protect myself from inhaling paint. After I was done painting I took the mask off and I had paint on my nose and mouth... worst part of it was the paint was also up in my nose my nose hairs and nostrils were coated in paint!.

FITS!
I love it! Excellent fit, FINALLY found a "large" for my MALE face. They're so big on, "large is for a male face" so I figured I'll try it, and surprise surprise! The hardware stores always only sell the MEDIUM one which is good for a kid or a typical woman. Super comfortable, excellent seal, worth every penny.

Must have. Comfortable and works perfectly.
I use it for enamel paint spraying. Really comfortable, cool, and easy to breathe. And it filters out all trace of chemical smell for what I’m doing. Would definitely recommend and worth the money given the health benefits.
