Need Emtek 2-3/8" backset keyed Entry Latch 7/8" wide - NOT 1" wide

Still searching for a replacement part that will work. Do you have? Latch thickness is very important. 1" does not work. Need 7/8".

Did what it said and was an easy replacement for a broken latch. Not sure what else to do other than get philosophical. What do you do when a door closes, you open it again. It's a door. That's what doors do. Unless the latch is broken, in which case you buy this and fix it.

Perfect replacement

Tried to get a replacement from the big box store and was told because it was a 2 3/8” latch that they didn’t carry that size. Was told that I would probably have to replace the door which I wasn’t interested in doing. It seems sturdy and when set to the correct length it was a perfect replacement. Door works fine now no door replacement required. Very pleased.

Had to drill out holes for door handle. Little extra time but after that cheaper than buying a new one.

Good replacement Option

Prior latch wore out and would not retract fully. This replacement looks to be a better quality. No problems at 1-month.

Had to chisel out for the mounting plate it doesn't just push in and can't take the plate off.

Worked great

Worked like a charm to replace the latch in my locking scroll handle for my master bedroom. My original latch didn't have a plate so I did have to borrow some tools to knotch out the plate in my door. But a little YouTube and the right tools it all worked out. Much cheaper then buying a whole new set.
