Got this as a gift for my dad who used to be a zookeeper. I assumed he would put it in the yard, but he likes it so much it is going to work with him and will have a place of honor on his desk. Quick update- he is loving the meerkat. So far, the meerkat has interrupted a zoom meeting, and creeped out his boss. This is the gift that keeps giving! Item as exactly as described. Size is close to life size, and paint job looks good. If i had more free time, i would have loved to give it a more lifelike paintjob but its factory paint is just fine. I would absolutely buy this again it was the perfect gift for him.
