Very thin resin breaks easily

I should have heeded the other reviews that said this statue breaks very easily. It broke during the first rainstorm when it fell over in mulch. I should have used an adhesive to attach it to a large paver. I have another tiki by this company that is much sturdier and more realistically finished than this one.

incredibly detailed tiki, better than expected!

if your a fan of disney's tiki room, this fits right in to the theme. very well made. pretty heavy. shipped in a sturdy box. its actually better that i thought it would be.

Beautiful, but very light and brittle. It will break.

Beautiful piece, but not very sturdy. Make sure that you don’t place near concrete or any hard surface, if it tips over due to wind, it will shatter very easy. Walls are extremely thin, plus there’s no weight to it.

Copious coolness must be one of the three pleasures!

This resin sculpture was made to look quite convincingly like rough, unsanded, carved wood, mimicking the grain with variations in color. I think it would fool most people unless they looked underneath it. It looks nicer and of better quality than I expected- nice enough so the price seemed reasonable, and when I did a Google search, the Amazon.com price was the least expensive. Also the bottom of the statue has small, fuzzy pads to prevent making scratches on the floor. I am guessing that the design may have been inspired by a poster of Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room so I doubt that it is an authentic depiction of tiki art. Oh well, I still love it!

Fun item to put out by the pool

I wasn't sure what to expect from this item but it's perfect. We have a tiki themed backyard pool area and along with the Bayside-21 Hula Thatched 8' Umbrella that we also purchased on Amazon, it is a perfect fit with our theme. It is tall enough to stand out and of a substantial weight. Very fun and we're really happy with it.

Tiki Gods

I purchased this to incorporate into my tropical garden. I placed it at the entrance of a Tiki Hut. It is absolutely the perfect kitchy addition I needed. It reminds me of the Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland which is what I was looking for. It is heavy and held up well during the winter.
