Ces plafonniers encastrés utilisent 85 % moins d'électricité pour produire la même quantité de lumière que les ampoules à incandescence. Excellent remodel LED can lights

I really liked the two mounting systems that these lights offered. It made it much easier to replace them in my cans which did not have internal tabs. The light is good and the lamps work with my dimmer.

Updated look… and no more halo glow!

I installed these LED ceiling lights in 22 year-old can lights on my front porch. The finish is more brown than bronze, but it sufficiently matches the bronze hardware on my front door. I knew that the flange was 1/2 inch smaller in diameter than the original flange and that this was going to be an issue because the original flange had left an indentation on the stucco. Although there is indeed a "ring" around the lights (that the stucco technician will remedy, eventually), it is much less conspicuous than I thought it was going to be, AND, when the lights are on, there is no longer the unsightly ragged halo glow around the flange, because these LED lights are completely enclosed in the housing. They shine down, and down only, whereas the bulb screwed in the socket inside the can allowed the light to "leak" around the flange due to the uneven texture of the stucco surface. Also, every few months, I would have to climb a ladder to clean the housing because of the dead flies deposited inside the can. These lights will remain clean! Even though the lumen output is a bit lower than on the other LED retrofit lights; they are still a little too bright. I leave the light on all night and would have preferred half the brightness.

2 out of 7 would not work after installing

Finally get room done I bought these lights for and they looked perfect with stained ceiling but I had 2 out of the 7 lights would not come on, ended up having to install regular white lights until I get some more ordered. Not sure what QA QC is done to make sure they will work out of box, 1 of the lights appeared used as box was not sealed.

The pig tail is too short which makes installation more difficult than it needs to be. Also, the housing trim arrives scuffed because the fixtures are not planed in plastic bags before going in the cardboard box. It's along trip from China and all the vibration causes the painted metal trim to rub against the box for the entirety of its 12,000 mile journey. All 6were like this

Nice alternative to white

Installation was simple. I didn’t need the white gasket. The light wouldn’t fit flush with the ceiling without some adjusting of the retaining clips

Super easy install thanks to the optional friction blades

I don't usually post reviews and reserve the act for products that exceed expectations. This is one of them. What I appreciated most is that this retrofit unit comes with two install methods – the torsion spring which seems to be the most common, and friction blades (which I'm thinking is used in older or more "builder-grade" homes). Our old pot light cans were the latter so if this product didn't have the friction blade addition then using torsion springs would've made the install that much more difficult (involves getting additional C-clips and then screwing them into the inner side of the cans). Anyhow, all I had to do was swap out the torsion springs with the included friction blades and replacing our old potlights was as simple as changing a lightbulb.

Great lights

I have over 160 expensive pot lamps in my home. Needed brown for the home theatre. Found these. They work as well and look as good as my other lights which were more than twice the price.

Box description. Description on here somewhat conflicts.

I just bought these lights and yet to be installed. Although i see a lot of reviews here of people having installed them outside, which is my intention, on the boxes they come in, it says in big bold letters "Interior"...so I hope that is not going to be an issue for me to install them outside but, the box words do not look good, especially for a constantly picky electrician.
