Get it!

This is a great product! I love it and it’s perfect for the clothes! The only thing I don’t like is not having a bigger cap for the detergent measuring, it makes it a bit harder to gauge the level because you can’t really see where it is.

Good Product Lousy Packaging

I've been using this detergent for about a month, washing for a family of 10 including a newborn and a 90-yr-old. Our allergic reactions to other detergents have disappeared. Once a very large tablecloth came out with oily stains still there, but most of the time it gets even the soiled (and pre-soaked) baby clothes clean and fresh. My biggest complaint is with the abyssmal packaging. Directions say to use one to two capfuls in an HP washer and the caps are small regular screw-on types that do not drain back into the bottle - what a mess! Each cap is only 1 inch in diameter and holds 1-½ teaspoons. Now I use a teaspoon measure but still messy. GET WITH THE PROGRAM AND FIX YOUR PACKAGING - a measured pump as another user recommended would be ideal, or at minimum a cap that drains back into the bottle!

Use as directed

I have many allergies to sulfates, fragrances and harsh chemicals and I had no problems with this product. It lasts a long time (when used as directed) and cleans everyday clothes. The only problem with this is that it did not remove stains. Which is a bummer considering the price.

Product great, forced to purchase elsewhere due to it being an "add on item"

Product gets 5 star, Amazon gets 0 stars.I love this laundry detergent! It is very gentle for my baby's sensitive skin. I use very little with each load of laundry 1-2 cap fulls. Each cap full is about the size of a soda bottle lid (very small), but to my surprise it suds up very well. This lasted me nearly 4 months washing a load of clothes every other day. The only issue I had with this product is not with the product itself, but with Amazon. When I returned to purchase this item again, it was listed as an "add on item" and I couldn't purchase just one bottle. Since this was the only thing I needed, and I needed it within the week (almost out) I was forced to find this product elsewhere. I found it for the same price on CAMFormulas.com. With shipping, the price resulted in the original price the item was listed at on Amazon nearly 4 months ago ($14.) Come on Amazon, forcing me to purchase more than I need just to be able to get the item I want is not a way to keep customers. You lost a sale because you tried to force me to purchase $25 worth of items before you would sell this to me. I would have much rather you kept it at $14 than reduce the price and try to force me to purchase more.

I've tried so many eco-friendly laundry detergents, and I haven't been 100% pleased with any of them. Some of them are downright awful, others make me itch, some have bad ingredients while claiming to be "natural", and most leave my clothes smelling not-so-fresh. Eco-Me (as well as castile soap) is the only one I've found to work well for everyday laundry. My clothes come out smelling clean without any residue. Eco-me does not leave greasy soap residue on my eye glasses (after drying them with a towel), whereas most of the other "natural" detergents do. Eco-Me comes in a very small bottle, but it's super concentrated. I agree with the other reviewer who stated that Eco-Me needs to redesign the cap. It's annoying. I stuck a pump onto it from another bottle I had, and I like that much better. It's also possible to use a separate measuring cup or to rinse the cap before putting it back onto the bottle. I like this detergent so much that this is such a minor inconvenience. Just a note: There isn't a laundry detergent on the planet that can remove every stain, get out all nasty sweat smells, take away urine odors, or be able to freshen up musty towels. That's what soaking, vinegar, a washing machine steam setting, or simply hanging your clothes outside on a line are for. Tough stuff has always, and will always, require extra steps. This Eco-Me detergent works exceptionally well for everyday laundry, and far surpasses every other "green" option I've tried.

Scent is Very Light

I don't like that the Vanilla scent is almost non-existent but I do like that the product is concentrated so the container is smaller.

Safe product, see my tips for dealing with the cap

I found this on Gimme the Good Stuff and got it while I was pregnant--I wanted to use the safest detergent possible on all the baby's stuff, and mine (since I'd be breastfeeding and also obviously touching her a lot). I ended up just laundering everything with this because why not be less chemical-free in general? I'm really pleased with this...a little goes a long way, and I notice absolutely no difference between this and All Free and Clear, which I used for years beforehand. Regarding the cap/lid--it's true that once you use it as a measuring cup, the excess detergent drips down the bottle. But once I ordered a second bottle, I simply kept the old cap and rotated them--I toss the cap in with any cold cycle I do (and that's everything but sheets) and then put the clean cap on the bottle. I just remove the lid after washing and rotate them again. You could also simply keep one cap just for measuring and the other just for lid. That way the measuring one would never soil the bottle. I'm very happy with this and got the Eco-Me dish soap too. I find that both products work and I love that they're truly safe for my family.

Happy with product, even more impressed with the customer service

It’s a good product, concentrated so will go a long way. I’d been using soap berries to make my own detergent but much prefer this. The product arrived leaking having been damaged in the post. I contacted them to let them know, and they gave me a refund, even though I had said that it still had product in the bottle. Very impressed with them and will be ordering again It also arrived 10 days earlier than estimated
